Will Nintendo Pwn E3 this year?

As a long-time (since the mid 1980's) Nintendo fan, I'd like to say that I expect them to own E3 this year, but I can't say such a thing honestly. I'd like to see a strong showing from Nintendo, but I really don't know what they have up their sleeves, if anything. I'm looking forward to seeing the DS, as well as the Metroid Prime and Wind Waker sequels.

That would be quite a showing from Xbox, but are all these truly gonna be at the next E3? If they are, more power to them but I kinda doubt all of them. Hopfully Nintendo does have and ace up there sleeve because Microsoft would wipe the floor with them if all theses show up.

i dont know to me the only good thing microsoft has going for them right now is Halo 2 everything else is just another game in my book, nintendo has so much neat games and the DS that it will be wiping its ass with Xbox instruction manuals at the end of the 3 days.

lol. EGM had that same poll in November 2002 - who had the best games in 2002. Nintendo won w/ 65% (ps - 24% xbox 10% gba 1%)... EGM tries to cater to Nintendo fans more than other mags, so it doesnt suprise me that they have Nintendo fans that subscribe to their mag..

I never said that before but with Ninja Gaiden and the games already announce, I am looking forward to more games on that now then any other system.

I'm still hoping the rumored Killer Instinct 3 with online play will be there.

1. Sunshine is an underrated game, and the new paper mario and mario 128 will obviously be better

2. If you seriously think a new zelda game wont be huge at E3 then you are stupid

3. For the last time, you cant compare this game with FPS. Metroid is adventure

This will be a tough battle, from what i know both nintendo and sony will hae playable demo's. This E3 will decide which handheld might sell more or be better than the other. For some reason i have a fealing that the DS will rule.

3.Nintendo won't go 'the way of sega' because Nintendo is still a wealthy company that is still profiting a lot. Sega had always been going through debt and failures and such, unfortunatley, and that's why they had to leave. Nintendo is very, very, very far from leaving the console buisness, no matter what any uninformed mainstream source may tell you.

In my opinion, I think Nintendo stands a good chance at stealing the show, as long as they give some good playable stuff. It's almost garunteed everyone else will be showing off many a video.

Zelda (Wind Waker 2 using the same engine) I don't see any wow factor. Sure it'll be the Majors Mask of the Cube.majoras Mask was great and many found it better than OoT. WW sold over 3 million copies and holds the pre-sale order record. Safe to say the sequel is highly anticipated.

I don't see any chance. I love Sega and Nintendo, I think if they joined forces then they would be able to take on the gaming world. (Fzero prime example)

As far as my list goes, I love first person shooters. I'm not a fanboy, I'm very excited about Metroid Prime. Second thing I love is fighters. Third RPGS.

A big part of the reason I am not excited about Nintendo is that they have dissapointed me. I find it hard to get excited about the next mario when Mario Sunshine was the only Nintendo made mario game I did not like. (The other was on the CDI) Zelda sequal using the same graphic engine is great, but no show stopper by all means... Pikimi to looks to be more of the same with more polish and not wide appeal. Now an animal crossing sequal with this generation graphics would draw my interest. As well as a Golden Sun for gamecube... Resident Evil 4 looks good to me, but alone will not be a how stopper.

Last year was my Gamecube year, all my favorite games were on it, year before ps2, this year still up in the air but Online fighting games are leaning me towards xbox live.
