What games are you getting at launch?

For those picking up a ps3 on the 17th, what game or games are you planning to get as well? As for me Resistance is a def, but i'm undecided on a second game.

I have to be honest the NA launch is not that exciting game-wise.
The Europe delay is looking better and better everyday (unless they never make that site where we reserve our nicknames).

But to stay on topic:

2)Probably one of the sports sims. Leaning toward NBA2K7, Tiger Woods doesn't sound bad this year either.

Waiting to see how RR7's online turns out before I decide on that one. I'll definitely check out the PS Store stuff too (Flow, Blast Factor, Calling All Cars).

During EB's preorder they gave out a release list up until June. Doubt it's 100% accurate but March looks positvely insane. Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword, Lair, Virtua Fighter 5, Burnout 5, MLB The Show '07, Assassin's Creed, Def Jam, Army of Two.

Resistance is my only launch game. Its been an expensive fall/winter already for me but I may buy another title on impulse (it depends what catches my eye on the shelves).

But at this point Im really looking forward to Res.

there will be 400k PS3's in NA's launch. and there will be 500k Resistance games sold. yes, the game looks so good some will buy it twice. O_o

as for the scond game for me, I wanted MotorStorm. since that isn't out till two months later, I wanted to get Fatal Inertia. but damn, that isn't a launch title, IIRC. so I'll probably get both Full Auto 2 and Genji IF I like them when I try them out in the store.

I also wanted FEAR, but I need to have different genre of games. I may get RR when the price comes down in about a month's time.

here's for a God damn rocking PS3 gaming year in 2007! :)

the first 5 or 6 months after a lunch are somwhat silent. for PS3, it would be the first 4 or 5 months. after the second wave of hit games come alog, it'll be an avalanch till a year after PS4 launches. ;)

I'm not getting one at launch, it just can't happen. However, I'm getting one in January or February, and with it, I'll just get Resistance. Don't know if I should get MotorStorm or just wait a bit for VF5, Heavenly Sword, Burnout 5 and Army of Two. Mmmmm...yeah, I'll probably just wait for those.

BTW, Assassin's Creed is now a Fall 07 game guys.
