I just got back from Best buy and I just picked up extra wii-mote, nunchuk, and Classic Controller!!
All I can say is NICE! The controllers all feel very nice.
It all came to about $80 (minus $5 from best buy gift card coupon)
Here are some pics of my new Wii-mote :)
Heres the set :) Sorry for the mess I'm kind of running late to work, but Im soo excited!!

Heres the Wii-mote itself, the only thing I find dissappointing is the fact that Nintendo didn't include a microphone in it? Any ideas on why that would be. I wish they would of but anyway...

Heres the classic controller: What is with the clip thing in the back of it? I thought the Wii-mote would connect with it but I have no idea how it would.

Any comments feel free to post, I will however not be home until around 12:30 am because of work. Sorry about that. But I got my Wii all reserved waiting to pick up at TRU's. Can't WAIT!!

Because of the title, I thought you were going to post a picture of yourself holding a bunch of Wii stuff while you had a raging hard-on.

i'd say that Nintendo left out the mic because the remote usually wont be infront of you or near your mouth. the DS had a mic because most of the time you will be holding with both hands pretty close to your face (unless you have super eyesight and really long arms).
so yeah it would be more efficient to leave the mic out. it also reduced the remote's cost to build a tiny bit. plus then they can sell a seperate accessory and make some money off that. since the Remote transmits bluetooth, Nintendo would likely have it be a bluetooth earpiece for FPS's.
or if there is a singstar style game, a Mic attachement could be released with it. it would plug into the bottom and you just flip the remote upside down and hold it like a stage mic.
but i'd prefer a bluetooth headset.

^its really not bad at all...
Whe I played it E3 I actually really liked it... It's retro enough and feels new at the same time ...mainly becuase of the dual analog sticks and two (four total) sholder buttons.

Just got back from work!!
Since there really isn't a "manual" per say, ill take a picture of the inside of the carboard that came with the controller :)

Nothing really special about it, except for the weird clippy thing in the back of the controller. Also the controller is very nice and comfortable. The two joystiqs though are a little to close to each other. When pressing both sticks towards each other my thumbs hit each other, annoying but ok.
An interesting note about the controller is that the "L" and "R" shoulder buttons feel presser sensitive. A lot like the GCN controller, which made me think. None of the older controllers needed this function so why add it? Probably for the new VC games coming? Maybe it can be used to play GCN games, i dont know.

Yeah, I was wondering about those shoulder buttons. To me, it looked like the outer ones were pressure sensitive and the inner ones were digital, so it was like a GCN controller but the two parts just separate (which is good, since analogue triggers suck as a replacement for digital buttons). But then they went and made the announcement that GCN games will only use the GCN controller. I don't get it :/

I have kept away from stores so far, seeing this stuff will only build anticipation.

The freaking wait is killing my drive to play a game in the meantime... RE4 isnt even cutting it right now. And RE4 always makes me happy... or atleast not bored.

It would do the same for me, but there is nothing set up yet. Makes me wonder if the Wii is just a joke.

I tried explaining this but I see no way the Wii-mote could hook into the classic controller. So the clip looking thing in the back of the classic controller is confusing on why it is there.
Wonder what Nintendo has coming for us.
