And two that piss me off....
First, whenever my system goes on standby, I am unable to connect to my Internet provider. It gets to the Vaerifying Username and Password Stage, but it can get no further.
And Second, whenevr my Internet has been on for 2 hours, it automaticallly disconnects. So when I get a little to attahced to Diablo 2 and find a realyl cool guy to play with, well, thats that.
If anyone can help me (Nukeblaze :shifty:) I'd be really grateful.

Are you using a hub instead of a router to connect to the internet? Because i know that sometimes ISP's will kick you if they see you are trying to share your internet connection, but they cant do that with routers.

Operating system?
Age of the computer and some details on components?
Do you have the lastest version of Internet explorer?
What type of internet connection? And if dsl or cable, does it connect with an ethernet wire or a USB cable to your computer?

Oh, crap. I suck
Yeah, Im using a hub. I have to dial up to start my broadband. No router.
I use both IE and Mozilla. I have Windows XP. 256mb of ram, 40GB HDD and AMD Athlon 2000+.
576 kbps broadband.

You can get a router for like 50 bucks new. I suggest the D-Link brand because Linksys seems to have a lot of problems with their BEFSR41 model.

Im going to have to agree with Gunpei.
Attempt connection with a direct connection between your modem and computer, nixing the hub. If that solves the problem, you may want to invest in a router, becuase it shares one IP address. Hubs, on the other hand, give one Ip address to everyone connected, instead an internal IP as routers do. You usually do not have the ability to having more than one IP without paying an additional fee to your ISP .
What do you use, besides your computer, to connect to your hub? Game system? Additional computer?
Router would be better overall for better secutiry protection and flexablity in many conditions.
Post back when you have diectly connected your modem to your computer and checked if the same conditions cause your computer to disconnect.

Just about any router these days supports Xbox-Live. Most of the version M$ does not reccomend for Xbox live have been firmware updated to support it.
