What happened to GBA/DS forum? You can still play GBA titles on your DS, so why completely get rid of it? Just curious.

I guess just cause its gotten pretty old, and its dead except for the final fantasy games coming out for it.

You can still play those games on those consoles, so why does it matter? It's the next gen, dude.

it's still basically a handheld board. no one's going to ban you for posting a GBA topic on the DS board. however, let's face it, it's basically a dead system. We don't include NES in the title of the Wii board just because you can play NES games on the Wii, do we?

GBA and Gamecube are now dead. Why mention them in the board name?

With full 100% backwards compatibility between the new systems, I removed the redundant console.handheld from the board title so more focus and emphasis is placed on the now.

Translation: I felt like it, I'm Viper, Sovvy's hot.

I haven't seen or played a GBA game since I beat Link to the Past six months ago, its dead to me.

PS: DS cannot play original Game Boy games, not 100% but close.

^Some old games by default suck if you give them online in a newer game for the DS. Not much you can do with Mairokart, but give it online you can forget the old non online version.

There is small selection of RPGs releasing on the GBA like Yggdra Union, Super Robot Taisen: Original Generation 2, and Summon Night: Sword Craft Story 2 (released a month ago), which I personally think is just as interesting as FFV and the upcoming FFVI (favourite in the series). These are the games pretty much keeping the system alive. ^_^

That doesn't mean that this thread should not renamed as the DS thread, because it's pretty obvious that the GBA is pretty much dead. Just doing a bit of advertising. :pinky:

In two years GBA will be as dead to me as GB color was once GBA came out. And then in 3 and 1/2 as dead as GB color will seem once I graduate. What was that sixth grade??

GB..It's actually still fun except for the horrible headaches from the blur when the screen moves..ow.

One day the wii will look like junk, Nintendo will have something so much better. But for now, think of today because tomorow has it's own problems and we don't want to think about those :)
