Never had a chance to play it yet. I just can't see it being my type of game even if it does keep getting amazing reviews.
I got this game and its awesome I love it. If you like games like Animal Crossing, The sims, or harvest moon then you will probably like this game. Its pretty fun building a garden and trying to attract different pinatas while keeping some of your more favorite pinatas from being eaten or getting in fights.

I've played it. I'd almost go as far to say that it is a GoW killer. I put WAY more time into VP than GOW, and my girlfriend and I love it.
It takes about 45 minutes to get into it, then things start moving fast.
One thing to note is that you won't be able to get all 60+ pinatas in your garden, as every pinata except a select few will fight with other pinatas, i.e. dogs fight with cats, bees fight with ants, etc. And there simply isn't enough room to house all 60.
However, they let you create up to 8 gardens, and each garden can have its own purpose, its completely up to you how to play. For instance, one garden can be a "water park". Certain pinatas need special requirements, like swans need 20% water, hippos need around 50% water.
You can also have one garden dedicated to just trees, and mining. one for insects, etc.
And each time you start over, you don't have to completely start over, you take all upgrades, and the money with you (if you have 10,000 in one garden and youmake another, you keep the 10,000 in the first garden, and you get 10,000 to start with in the second) , the only thing is you have a flat garden.
Also, every garden will turn out different than the other.
I highly recommend picking it up if you like the sims, animal crossing, pokemon, or any other type of game like that.

Hmmmm... I keep hearing more good things about this game. Maybe I should pick it up for my sister, that should give me a reason to play it.
I got this game. I haven't put to much time into it but so far I'm really loving it.

i'm supposed to get this free from ms (well my manager but its mine ! ) still hasn't been sent . However i did check it out and its really fun though a bit to much like animal crossing. I.e you play a crap load of it for the first week or so and get alot done and then after a certian point there is little to do and you log in less and less and for less and less time each time .
Also the content packs are nuts . 2$ for 3 hats !?!?!?!
