PSInext clan meeting thread

I need help trying to get online with resistance. I load the game, go into multiplayer, then on the screen where it is suppossed to show the servers, only the resistance star logo is seen on the back like loading the screen, but it never loads, then shows up a message that says that there was an error and that the servers list cant be loaded.

this is the exact error i get:

"Error en la conexion de red. Desconectandose de la red."

In english, it is "Error in the network connection. Login out from the net" or something like that.

I really want to play online, so any kind of help will be greatly apreciated.

Make sure you have the correct ports open, and somebody else isn't leaching off your internet connection by downloading something. I used to get the same errors when my sister was downloading stuff off of bittorrent on the computer.

I used to have trouble logging online with a game and the the Store was extremely slow. I found out after much trouble it was because all of my bandwidth was hogged by my laptop. when I close my downloads and streamings, everything is fine.

I'm soooooooo disappointed, I can't get my headset to work on MS. I called Sony and here are the ports for the game:

Weird thing happened to me yesterday on RFoM. I was playing with 2 other players and it said that it was capture the flag but when I got to the our flag I see the other players shooting around it and hitting something. Then when we went after the flag and they went through it without picking it up. I didn't think anything about it till later the next round when it was 3 on 1 and I went to the opposition spawn and took the air vents up and the other 2 guys saying it wasn't there. Then at the end they asked me how I got so many points and I said I returned the flags and they seemed confused. I didn't get a chance to ask but it seems they were playing a meltdown map and I was playing capture the flag.

We could create a new sticky (we should probably take this one down though) with timelines and games and rooms for playing. It would be much like this one only a little more structured.


Im free on the weekends and in the summer after 5 pm (Im on Indiana time) and I have most of the big online titles (willing to buy some others if this takes off).

Any reponses to this notion would be great.

Nah man I usually try to stray from Betas while the thought is very tempting I dont really want to ruin the initial first reaction of the game.

Believe me WH, Halo3, Home, and Shadowrun were all very very tempting but I must "keep the faith" :)


But anyone that does make it in the beta please keep the forum informed.

^I have a similar feeling of some games! I heard about the FF XII demo, but I never wanted to play it myself. I don't want a separate play of FF XII or some other games sometimes, I just want to play the final package and get the full on experience sometimes lol. Then there are many games I d/l demos and betas for like FPS games and RTS games and stuff, games that aren't... kind of hard to explain... not the reason that I don't like them as much, but if I won't have some sort of attachment to the game or story, kind of like that I guess, I don't mind playing demos then. Like I play RTS games for action and strategy, but I play some games for their full and final and complete experience and I want it all at once or none at all.

I have a US version of the game so I am playing the Yanks since the start. hehe.

I am not so lucky with MotorStorm though, as I have an EU version and thus am stuck with them, Ozzies and zealanders. it is nothing really, I just presume there are more players in NA seervers that's all. what PAL regions really help me with is the daytime difference; we play at almost the same ours. with NA, they start playing at 2 in the morning my time. ;p

We have a clan but there is never any real communication(in-game) or times in which we all(or even a few) join up and game together. In the last few month I have only played with a maximum of 3 to 4 E-mpire members and some of them are in other clans. I wish there was more clan support in the game as I feel it prohibits us from gaming together more often.

lol...no i mean I haven't once recieved a clan message in-game(to setup up a clan get together, etc), and the ones posted here usually only bring in about 4-5 people tops. It would be nice if we could ALL(80-90%) get together and play at least once..... :shrug:

At least add some community features where we can see the games the guys on our friends list own, when they last played it, when they were last online etc.

We make a great team, only if I had a mic, we would be much better.
It takes us 4 minutes to communicate and deploy to the battlefield lol

I only heard you clearly when I showed you an AK and you said "ah there we go, ta" and you spoke one more time but it was very bad quality.

On where to go, just go to the nearest cap point that isn't ours and kill everyone on the way lol (or at least try) and in Capture The Flag, just charge their base.

When I'm playing on my own, I do some base defending in CTF but that's no fun two of us.

Matt, yeah I can log in around 7ish (unless we are eating then) got nothing to do today (or anyday really lol) but Uni is starting this Monday so I'll be on less frequently probably, depends on the workload and how lazy I feel :p

We should really try to get a good 24 player E-mpire only game going.

I think the forum should have some kinda time mod so it shows the local time of each person when they post.

Anyway, what times are people generally available.
7 - 10 over here in the UK everyone in the US is at work or school.

So to join up, we'd have to do things on a weekend (and thats only if people are working 5 days monday to friday!), UK and Europe players at night, US players in early afternoon. Or US players at night and others in harshly early morning.
And then theres those members further East.

It's too complicated to set up. It might be an idea to do it on a regional basis or try and set up some multinational friendly gaming times - but at the end of the day someone ends up playing at an awkward time.

im hoping on Cod4 more frequently now. usually at 2pm my time ("GMT+10hrs "Brisbane is my time zone) plus on fri & sat nights my time 7-8+ hrs a night if home (which we do nothing so i usually am)
