The same thing that happens to other games when they don't want to be shown. It's happened to Killzone, it's going on with Big, Ratchet, and it is happening to Duke Nukem Forever in a grossly disproportional way.
It'll be shown, eventually...
Seriously, if videogames should be known for anything, it's that there is nothing we don't wait for, and if anything happens to the duration of the waiting, it only gets increased. Only under blue moons are there exceptions to this... sadly....
I'm so looking forward to seeing more of The Getaway, Killzone, Big, and Eight Days. They all look so action packed. Well, Getaway... it has a lot of work to do, same with Killzone but it seems to be going somewhere as of late.

let them work on those games and reveal them when they are ready... I don't wanna them to rush their game and make them unfinished. I prefer to have 4 or 5 games every two or three months rather than 10 games a month with crapy gameplay.
Sony knows what they are doing , and they are workin on nice fanchises...let's trust them.

Yea i've thought about this game. But i'm sure we'll see it sooner or later. I wouldn't be suprised if the footage shown at E3 was a CG target render tho.

It's still early, what I'm more interested in is where the heck Heavenly Sword is going because it missed TGS with a major bug in the demo and ended up using the old E3 demo, and then completely missed out on Gamers' Day. DeanoC said at B3D they've been busy but with WHAT? They haven't had anything to really show for it since E3.

Well, just remember what usually happens when they show off games too early: everyone bashes them, because they don't look like finished games.
I prefer the developers to show their work, when they feel it's the right time.
meh...just wait till another big trade show happens...

I like it when we don't see a game for ages, it sort of spoils it when you know every tiny thing about a game before it is released. I'm thinking of avoiding any more MGS4 news until the game is released as I'm sure it will be a better experience if I don't know too much beforehand.
I like the way Rockstar promote their games. They keep everything secret until just a few months before the game is released and then by the time your really hyped for it, the game is already out in the shops.

Actually, I remember reading an article a while back about this game getting axed.

I'm thinking of avoiding any more MGS4 news until the game is released as I'm sure it will be a better experience if I don't know too much beforehand.Yeah, I feel you. I've succeeded in avoiding news on MGS3, DMC3, Shadow of the Colossus, Onimusha series, FFXII (still on it), some movies and more. In the end, the satisfaction is greater than I expect it to be most times. However, I find it impossible to avoid MGS4 news and keep on visiting this forum at once. I wish I could hold my anticipation back :cry2: By the time MGS4 gets a release date or a new trailer, I'll have to refrain from coming here until I play it. Seriously.
The problem right now is that PS3 software media is scarce yet since it's just launched and most AAA games are still in early stages of development, so we'll just get a lot of coverage from the same games all the time or just not-so-good-looking media of games before entering the polishing stage. I wonder how much Motorstorm coverage we've seen in the last month. If I had been watching every video and reading every preview, I would have spoiled it totally to myself by now, even considering that there's not nearly as much to be spoiled about it as in MGS's, DMC's or FF's case.
Actually, I remember reading an article a while back about this game getting axed.I don't think there's any truth to that.

^Sorry, it was Killing Day I was thinking about.Hehe. One less Ubisoft FPS... what a terrible loss! :drunk:
(I would have preferred some other FPS games to be cancelled instead though)
