Since Linux YDL is out now...
QUESTION: Can someone see if its possible to download limewire on the ps3? (or the linux version of limewire, which i think is frostwire)

it would have to be compiled for the CELL processor or ran via an X86 emulator, but it is possible.

as Dude said you would need to either run it with an x86 emulator, recompile it for cell or use a different application.

There is limewire for Linux, but since it'd be made for X86 hardware I believe you'd need to emulate it.
