And this guy should debut on TV soon too...
WWE developmental talent Nick Dinsmore worked the RAW house shows this weekend as "Eugene." The Eugene character will be an over the top simpleton who loves wrestling. His character is apparently based on Warren from Something About Mary.
Dinsmore will be filming vignettes soon to hype his on-TV debut.

This time from the Smackdown brand...
- An incident occured at the Smackdown brand house show in Tampa, FL over the weekend. After Eddie Guerrero defeated the Big Show, he told the fans that he has lived in Tampa for seven years and brought his two daughters down to the ring. The three danced in the ring to his theme music when a fan threw a soda in the ring which almost hit one of the little girls. Guerrero got on the mic and said that the fan showed how much class he has. After the show ended and the fans started to leave, Guerrero came back out and almost attacked the fan who was being held by the cops. Guerrero had to be restrained by Dean Malenko and others.
- Guerrero has also been working lately despite a sore neck.
- The Tampa show yesterday drew about 3,200 fans for a gate of $100,000.
- The idea with Booker T's new heel character is not to make Smackdown appear as a B show, but to get him some heat. Most feel that it will just make Smackdown look weak compared to RAW.
- Big Show continues to work despite problems with his back, elbows, and knees.
- Rene Dupree is expected to get a big singles push and a program with John Cena that will likely lead to a match between the two at Smackdown's May PPV.

Goldberg may return to WWE afterall...
WWE has put an offer on the table to get Goldberg to return to the company. The deal would apparently include limited dates only and build to a huge program with Steve Austin. Right now, Goldberg seems to be debating whether it will be better for him or worse if he stays off TV for awhile. The general feeling now is that Goldberg will be back when the time and money is right.

Bubba is not popular backstage...
Many Smackdown wrestlers were upset that Bubba Ray Dudley was moved to the Smackdown brand. Bubba Ray is not very popular backstage due to his habit of calling all the shots in his matches and more or less only focusing on getting his spots in. D-Von Dudley, however, is well liked backstage.

High rating could solidify yearly lottery...
WWE's high 4.5 rating for RAW this past Monday could result in the post-WrestleMania draft lottery becoming an annual event. The feeling is that the brand split has been established now to where putting the rosters together for one night really does impact the ratings and create a "special" atmosphere. Most believe that had the rosters never been split, RAW would not be able to draw a 4.5 rating.

The Hitman getting ready to wrestle in court...
Bret Hart is readying a $2.2 million lawsuit against insurance company Lloyd's of London. In the suit, Hart claims that the company has failed to pay him his disability claims for the career ending injury he suffered during a match with Goldberg at WCW Starrcade in 1999.
Hart is seeking $1.2 million in unpaid disability benefits and another $1 million in punitive and aggravated damages for breach of duties.
"Lloyd's have not denied the claim, but they haven't paid it either," said Kenneth Staroszik, indentified as Hart's lawyer in the article. "Things are just going so slow that we've decided we have to start an action."

And you thought it was bad when Hardcore Holly was a headliner...
Due to how weak Smackdown's crop of heels currently is, WWE is actually considering headlining the May 16th Smackdown-only Judgment Day PPV with a Eddie Guerrero vs. Bradshaw WWE Title match. To add a little edge to Bradshaw, WWE may have Paul Heyman manage him.
Most backstage are in shock that Bradshaw will likely be getting a main event push despite his horrible in-ring work.

And guess who may manage him? Better recognize, playa...
WWE moved Mark Jindrak to Smackdown with plans to give him a major singles push. To make up for his lack of charisma, he will likely be given a manager. The favorite right now to be his manager is Teddy Long. Interestingly enough, most in WWE thought that Garrison Cade was more ready for a singles push, but Jindrak is getting the benefit due to his look.
