Movie thumbnails

Don't know if this has been posted but here goes.

When I download the movie demos originally, I just got the generic movie symbol in XMB.

last night I formatted my disk and backed every thing up to my 2gig MS Duo.

When I restored everything back, much to my surprise I now have active movie Thumbnails.

Go figure

Has anyone else noticed this. Has anyone download a demo and had active thumbnails right of the bat?

I had the same issue. I copied to my SD card, copied back and it worked fine.

You can also choose the spot where it creates the animated thumbnail, and it records the next 15 seconds of it for the thumbnail :-D

I have no problem with demo thumbnails, but video clips do not show thumbnails...

Yup, copy any movie back and forward to an external media you get thumbnails.

Must be an easier way....

Must be an easier way.... Start the video , bring up the menu and make your own with the change icon option.
