I used to use Limewire, but I was getting tired of the stupid BUY ME LOL thing and other things, so I got frostwire like people recommended.

1. I can't connect to the network. It used to be fine on Limewire.
2. How do I remove the magentix or whatever thing? I removed it on limewire somehow. EDIT: n/m, I got this one.

ares is good but the gnutella network has more stuff on it.

Onbake, you use wireless right? check your network settings in frostwire and have a look if it is excepted under any firewalls you have, the windoze firewall is shit and will block it for no reason.

you could also try gtkgnutella, i believe it has a windoze version.

In my firewall, it has Java as being active, but not frost wire itself. I looked and there was never a chance to allow frostwire.

And I have auto config selected for the router in frostwire options.

soulseek is good for music but usually shit for all other types of data.

bearshare has spyware i think.

go to zeropaid.com, there is lots of p2p information there.

no offense but you would be a bit of a fool to buy limewire pro. Frostwire is exactly the same but it is open source.

I have a special cracked version of LimeWire, I only need it for music (singles). Everything else is, torrents away!

well yes but limewire is implementing filters to avoid sharing copyrighted material so it is best to not use it when that day comes.

That is why some of the original devs split to make frostwire,, in effect opening limewire's source code. The developement of frost/limewire will be supposedly sequential.
