I truely hate the GBA.

Ive been very patient and quiet about the GBA for some time now. Nintendo promised 3d gaming and the GBA is not that. The Tony Hawk games are just pathetic. All of the sports games bite the big one. The only games that are any good are 2d platformers and RPGs. I have waited forever for the scheduled release of Grand Theft Auto 3 and havent got it. Rumor had it that they came out with a chip they could put in the carts to make em better. Obviously just a rumor. Very little new material has come out but Nintendo has managed to port the Mario games. They were obviosly to chep to port the two Zelda games. If they were to port The Legend of Zelda Part 2: The Adventures of Link, all would be forgiven. Maybe thats cause its my favorite game of all time. I cant wait for the Nintendo DS to blow the GBA piece o crap outta the water.

I want 3d. Good sports titles, good action titles, hell even a decently done off road racing game. But no. 2d. I love 2d just as much as the next person but their advertisement was for3d gaming. I got mine when they first came out.

You obviously haven't been following.

The PSP will be far more powerful graphically. Watch the ingame movies of the psp and then compare it with a systems specs that aren't quite up to the N64.

If you been following you are basically saying the N64 had better graphics than the Dreamcast.

So I was explaining the situation. The DS will have Touch Screen interface\Dual Screens. The PSP will have far superior graphics and a bigger screen than a single DS screen.

True, which basically means there isn't one yet. Otherwise Nintendo would love to take the PSP's thunder. If they allow the PSP to be as overhyped as the PS2 before stepping in they will loose. I don't really think they were prepared for what they saw.

Virtual boy this is not but it does have features to it that mean the games for it will not be playable on any other system.

2 screen. A CPU processor to control each screen.
One screen will be touch sensitive, either with a finger or a stylus pen.

Teh flame war! But the GBA is a solid little handheld. I still don't think 3D on handhelds will fly because we have 3D on home consoles. That's why the gba is good. You can get your 2D action on and then return home for 3D lovin.

I also love my gameboy advance SP because of the 2d graphics. This is going to be the last system with 2d graphics, so I'm abusing it now before I get a SNES. Just like Rabunis said, Home consoles are for 3d graphics, and good handhelds are for 2d graphics. oh, and btw, I don't remember Nintendo advertising any 3d graphics for the GBA.

They will continue with 2d games. You can always make a 2d game on a handheld. The sprites used in 2d games are just too damn cool. I think we can expect to continue seeing 2d games, as long as handhelds are still coming out.
