Here are some new images of Square Enix's Nintendo DS action RPG Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates. The game supports up to 4 players over Wi-Fi. The graphics are vastly improved over the demo from E3.

Wow, I really can see an increased difference since we last saw this game. Now this really looks like a must have multiplayer game!!

Wow, the game looks awesome! Ill get this for sure. I really really liked the GC FFCC but i no one wanted to play multiplayer with me. :(

I can't say I'm a big fan of the art style, but since when has that made a game any less fun? This is going to be awesome, assuming they stick to the game's roots.

Are those roots with or without the bucket?

when will this release? Last time I checked the release dates said sometime in December and well I never honestly believed that release date on IGN.

WOWOWOWOW. I AM SO EXCITED.
It looks so freaking cute that I'm about to die.
I wonder if all the races are intact. Those shots only seem to show Clavat and Lilty. (Unless the red-haired person on the left in the bottom shot is a Selkie.) Lilties FTW!

Are those roots with or without the bucket?

Don't hate on the chalice.

Looks really good. It would be fun to play wi-fi

I've been waiting for this since the DS launch. I'm glad that I'm getting updates, since it shows that they haven't forgotten about it.

I can't wait to play over WiFi with this.

Also, since everyone has their own screen, i'm sure there might not be that big of a use for a chalice.

Needs more Selkies though, hope they didn't get rid of the Yukes.

lilties ftw.

i remember playing 4-player with my brother and two friends, all with GBAs, and having a lot of fun. we never beat it though.

my only concern would be that if you're playing with 4 people, whose save file do you use? in an adventure like that, how do you know what progress each person has made?

I guess I'm the only Clavat fan here... them being better casters than Yukes if geared properly and all.

^ Youre not alone, Im a Clevat fan myself. I wasnt to keen on on the Lilities. Yukes were cool too, but come FFCC:RoF Im going to be jamming with you guys (and girls) Clevat style.

I just realized that it has an HP and MP setup, which is different from the GameCube (i actually liked how the magic was setup on GC, maybe it's still the same, except you have a limit to how many spells are cast)

The HP is an improvement that I welcome

This game won't require me to have four other people playing with me will it? If not then i'm in

I want it more, it seems close to being finished. When can we expect this? Spring?
