Walmart had 2 and target had 1. i was at walmart when they announced over the innercom that they had them... i was close by, called my dad to ask how much they were going for on ebay, and while talking with him for like 10 minutes, no one got one.

I dont know how many of you are looking, but i would suggest calling around if you still havent found one.

no. i already have a wii and a 360. in addition to that i just but an LCD tv, and i have to pay for college soon. they arent going for very much on ebay as well.

Yeah my gamestop and circuit city have PS3s as well. Its almost as if they were holding the console for the late Christmas buyers (just as some articles have suggested). I talked to a friend that works at CC and he said that it may have been a mistake as people are asking for the console but this late in the holiday dont have enough cash to make the purchase.

I know some stores lie to customers because they don't wanna sell them until a specific date. I'm waiting for Feb. anyway with VF5...plus I need to set up my router to get online. BTW-is there anyway to play online with 360 without Live? I see a local area connection option in Gears...sry off-topic

I think you can get a one month Gold for free and that allows online play.

Gotcha nameless-Gears is only Gears when your playing with some1. I did the horrible mistake of getting the core though, so no headset/no hdd..yeah-don't know what I was thinking...lol I should be up and running by the weekend mate.
