While I'm not making this post with it, I have downloaded and used the Opera Browser. It's just a "Trial Version" at the moment, they say it doesn't have all the functionality of the full version. Don't know what else they'd add (although a spot to enter a new URL without having to go to the start page first would be nice).

It doesn't seem slow or anything. And it's easy enough to use. -/+ are used for zooming in and out, A is like clicking the mouse, and holding B is like holding down the scroll wheel button - while holding it, you move the cursor around to scroll around the screen. Then the 1 and 2 buttons do something else, but I forget what. It gives you a favourites list, but at the moment it looks like you can only add new favourites by going to the site first, then going into favourites and clicking Add.

TEH INTERNETS ARE ON MY TV!!! :D

It works, but I don't seem to get the faded red bar that tells me how much of the video has loaded.

I just got it. Its really cool. My brother likes it alot too. We checked out hotmail, deviantart, google, nintendonow (didnt post anything though), newgrounds (watched some flash movies), nintendo.com, penny arcade and a few others. Its hard to read the words because of my TVs lame resolution, but you can zoom in so its all fine.

I couldnt get youtube to work though. I could get to the site and search for something, but when I clicked on the movie i got some wierd error. Ive seen it before on my computer, so its not the Wiis fault I dont think. Maybe it was the specific movie or the trail version.

Can't, the refreshing of the TV screen comes up really bad on the camera, so you can't see anything.

As for the USB/Ethernet adapter, the US site has it listed in the online store as "The Wii LAN Adapter will begin shipping in early January 2007."

I pressed 2 and it makes all the font bigger without zooming and 1 brings up teh favorites.

Just downloaded it, first place i went to was youtube. Goes faster than my computer does. I guess that has something to do with me having a windows 98 though. (I'm aware that i just double posted)

i dont mind it. its really the only time i wish Wii did support higher definitions because sites just dont look as good as when using my PC.

i wont use it too much as it requires my PC to be on and i have my PC connected to the same screen so i may as well use the better one for internet.

but yeah i'm patient enough to wait for the USB ethernet adapter. i'll enjoy using a keyboard in the meanwhile.

I checked out the shop last night at around 1:00 AM and it wasn't available yet. I'm trying now but failing to connect again. As of this moment, I haven't got an error message but it's been connecting for maybe half an hour by now. Maybe I'll get it downloaded... eventually.... someday.

what often helps me is going to the standard Wii Settings and Internet tab... then u can Test Connection and when it works (hopefully?) back out of the screen and try connecting again to the Shopping Channel and try and download it again...

i just used GameBattles forums and it worked perfectly... also, the 2 makes everything into one sinle string of text, no sidebar text etc... so all u have to do is scroll up and down...

i tried Break and couldnt get any of the videos to work, never tried YouTube... i also viewed some naughty pics and those worked fine... i used Wiki and it worked perfectly, and SHOCKINGLY (because of all the graphics, pictures, unique text, etc) both IGN and GameSpot worked perfectly... also, i viewed a video on Nintendo.com's Wii site...

i wouldnt suggest using the wii to post or anything like that, but for viewing internet articles and stuff like that, it works... im surprised i could log into a site and have it keep my username signed in, which is good... also, i got audio to work on the sites...

Try Google Video, see if it works. There's also Revver. Revver is a bit like YouTube, except it is easier on the eyes...
