I am trying to sign up to playstation network getting "connection to the server could not be established."
I have updated the PS3 to version 1.32. Using wireless connection, the internet connection test and status are fine. But not able to connect to the playstation network to sign up. Is the server down or should I use the wired connection to access the network?

the network is being affected by the congestion from the gthd demo. Try again in a few hours. It'll most likely be up by tonight.

Everything is back to normal for now...
I would imagine tomorrow morning and afternoon will have the same congestion problems we experienced earlier today.

My DL got cut off midway and when I tried to reconnect to the PS store I got a message about server maintanance. I'm gonna try again in the morning because I want to watch Enemy of the State on Blu-Ray tonight...
