whats on the Playstation store now?

not having a PS3 is getting really frustrating. i'm dying to see the Playstation Store for myself and flick through its pages but it seems you can only access it with the PS3. can anyone grab some images of it and post them here... please, or if it is possible post a link. think about all of us PS3less posters and give us a taste of what we can expect when we finally get our hands on Sony's Goliath :)

Yes...I second clifffy! Be nice guys... And where's the demo for Getaway! That CG stuff looked amazing, and If Sony didn't need GTA5 exclusive, then the Getaway should really take advantage of PS3 this gen as a nice replacement.

the Getaway would be a nice replacement for a GTA type exclusive but they need to flesh the game out a bit to get close to GTAs grandeur. graphically it bettered GTA but gameplay felt too linear IMO and there wasn't enough in there to warrant playing on after the creds rolled. i'm hoping Sony address these issues. perhaps thats why they never aggressively sought exclusivity.

One of the guys there asks a great question:
How much gigs of memory on the HDD are you left with when you open the box?
Can someone with a PS3 please answer that?
Because I heard the 360 'reserves' some of the HDD and you are left with 18GB or something?

Well do you have the full 60GB with the PS3?

I think its 55GIGS available out of the box. I dont have my ps3 on ATM but Im pretty sure it says 47/55 Gigs available.

The space estimate is kinda funky. When I started up my PS3 I immediately checked out the option for Installing other OS's, and to do that you need to create a partition on the HDD. You can either partition it so 10 GB is available for the other OS, or all but 10 GB is available for the other OS. I set aside 10 GB for Linux (which I haven't installed yet) so my system settings said I had 37 GB available. I've downloaded every demo available from the store, and at least half of the trailers, and I have 16 albums in my music area and some pictures, so I have 34 GB left... Even if the estimate is off, there's lots of space on there :)

Also, that list on that link didn't have MediEvil or GT HD on there as well. MediEvil is about 311 MB or so, and GT HD is like 650 MB.

it should be about 55GB, converting base 10 to 2 and subtracting what would likely be taken up by the filesystem, xmb/gameos and the bootloader.

ATM The best things on the store are:
- PS3 mini games (Blast Factor, Lemmings, Sudoku)
- demos: Motorstorm and GT:HD especially
- PSX games

They really need to start using the HDD to cache all the images, cause I can see it's always redownloading them, so the store is very slow...

With the PSP new firmware being hacked allowing gamers to play any title off of it. Sony better start releasing some damn good content for it otherwise people have no reason not to go homebrew.

Everything will be better at March. March to be honest feels like the REAL launch of the PS3...Mainly because here it is lol but also because Sony is bringing that huge Firmware update and they promised a huge update of content also.

Not to mention the big three games that makes the PS3 stand out are coming out in March :thumpsup:

that reminded me of a stupid ad sony had on their vaio website a few weeks ago, a shameless ripoff of the apple "i'm a mac ads", it went "i'm a pc, i'm a mac" and then "i'm a vaio" (scanky prostitute believe it or not!) It wasn't a very good ad.

Anyway, thanks Apple for the screens, japan gets so much stuff yet Sony is in no danger to lose to MS in japan, the wii is a different style of gaming so i won't count it.
