I know there is at least one, and he is an even bigger fan than I am..

Well anways the best or one of the longest running sites has released all of Rock Candy I in three parts. Track 28 is Pollyana, and I have trouble because for most of it it sounds like he's singing to a girl, but in part of it it seems like it should be the girl singing to a guy.

The part that gives me trouble is I guess what you would call the bridge,

"you may say she's a fool, feeling the way that I do,

you can call her Pollyana say she's crazy as (lou?)

she believes in silver lining and that's why she believes in you"

..this just does not compute to me. Was this song originally a duet? I'm sorry im not that fluent in the Rock Candy host sites matters. I'm really lost and confused, I just hope that you'll deliver the revalation i'm missing for me.

If you don't have a clue or you need to hear the rest of the songs lyrics I can write them or you can search Rock Candy

EDIT: ok i've listend some more, and it seems that he's saying "because I am so outspoken and sure of my beliefs, which seem radical to you, you call her crazy, but she believs in you"..

Kinda hard to understand still, but it seems like Pollyana was kinda a beacon of hope to everybody? But then the rest of the song doesn't make sense. ..idk. i just don't get it. I've never been able to play Mother 1.

EDIT2: Playing Mother 1 is my new, new years resolution. Naw nvm can't bring myself to do it. Feel dirty, and horrible, miserable.

I have an MP3 of the original version sung by Catherine Warwick, and it's definitely "crazy as a lune." Here's the lyrics from the original song:

I believe the morning sun
Always gonna shine again and
I believe a pot of gold
Waits at every rainbow's end
I believe in roses kissed with dew
Why shouldn't I believe the same in you?

I believe in make-believe
Fairy tales and lucky charms and
I believe in promises
Spoken as you cross your heart
I believe in skies forever blue
Why shouldn't I believe the same in you?

You may say I'm a fool
Feelin' the way that I do
You can call me Pollyanna
Say I'm crazy as a loon
I believe in silver linings
And that's why I believe in you

I believe there'll come a day
Maybe it will be tomorrow
When the bluebird flies away
All we have to do is follow
I believe a dream can still come true
Why shouldn't I believe the same in you?

You may say I'm a fool
Feelin' the way that I do
I believe in friends and laughter
And the wonders love can do
I believe in songs and magic
And that's why I believe in you

You may say I'm a fool
Feelin' this way about you
There's not much I can do
I'm gonna be this way my life through
'Cause I still believe in miracles
I swear I've seen a few
And the time will surely come
When you can see my point of view
I believe in second chances
And that's why I believe in you
The original seems to be about a person talking about the great amount of faith she has in "you." The changes in Rock Candy may have made it hard to understand, or maybe even changed the meaning.

Actually, I haven't heard anything from Rock Candy. Time to download!

And I do recommend that you play Mother. It's hard as hell, but fun.
