You can't even get it as a Christmas present in the UK yet :(
Stupid Sony themselves crossed off the PS3 off my Christmas wish-list :(

Oh well, there is always March which is now the new Christmas

Christmas starts when Sony says it does!

Merry Christmas

I got my main Christmas gift awhile ago, it was an AMD 4600+ Dual Core 64-bit for my new computer :-D

I also got a sweet-ass MGS2 wall scroll for my room (now all I need is a sweet MGS1 poster and my room will be decked out in sweet MGS goodness...until MGS4 comes out :-p), and lots of candy (I'm a candy addict ), and I've yet to receive a few other presents since my brother & sister aren't coming into town until like tomorrow or the next day, & so on.

I bought one for my little girl for Christmas .. it sure was painful looking at that neatly wrapped package and knowing what was inside and not being able to touch it for 2 weeks.

I got mine Nov 17th, but my girlfriends brother got one today so since I basically set it up for him it was like getting another one! No games for Xmas because my mom didn't know what I wanted so I have $125 at Best Buy that I'll probably go spend on Wednesday. ..

I got mine on the 23rd through ebay. My bro was kind enough to make the purchase for me, at retail price. Bid and won on the 22nd, guy FedExed it overnight air from Phoenix AZ, and I'm all the way out here in Northern VA (Merry f*ing Christmas!), and got it the morning of the 23rd. My bro placed the box in front of me, and then kept saying "hey," until I finally woke up to feast my eyes on the most beautiful thing I have ever awaken to, followed by a "what the f*ck?" . --LOL

Decidedly not. Black Friday is just that, a dark day in human history, a blight on humanity. Normal, decent, average people become openly rude, angry, violent, impatient sons of bitches, and the bitches that are their mothers are even worse than them. Trampling and stampeding people, just acting like general grade-A pissants. Standing outside of stores before they open...it's gross imo.:tardbang:

I got one from my girlfriend and family who all pithed in to help pay for it, though I still owe my better half around $120.00 or so for my part. No games yet but hope to afford it soon after I pay the rest back to the little woman. Got mine at Walmart thru a rain check. I plan on playing FF12 and messing with the multimedia functions for now.

That's certainly a double-meaning to it but it's called Black Friday because that's when all the shoppers would buy enough to let companies make profit so they'd be "in the Black." Both definitely apply, though today was a HUGE shopping day at my store and we got plenty of douches through there too.

Yeeeehaaaawww, some really nice people that i know have organised a lot of guys to buy me a PS3 at march (or maybe a little later) .
I don't know the most of these guys, they're friends etc. from them.
I was moved to tears when i opened the envelope and had read the card that was inside. :)

oh yes, I know why it's called black friday, cuz companies are 'in the black' afterwards, as opposed to in the red, I was just relating it from my pov.

"boxing day" sales?

Never heard of it. Anyway, sometime mid 2007 will be my PS3 holiday season. I'm just waiting to see when the backwards compatibility issues will be fixed and for a better selection of games.
