Tekken 4 Or Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance?

I personally liked Tekken 4 alot better than MK.. no real reason, I just perfer playing it over MK.

Well, the Tekken series is just so...dull. I mean, it's just so slow and non-revolutionary that I consider it a rental. As for MK, I don't know yet. I haven't played the arcade version, and can't say it from past MK's, because it's a whole new game.

I like the Dead or Alive series.

Yeah Spat, DOA is awesome, but I like MK a little better because of the weapons and projectile attacks. Plus Reptile. He's the man..uh...thing.

Im the biggest Mortal Kombatr fan in the world. I have every game and Know every story bihind every character ( i think), so yeah I Know for a fact that Mortal Kombat deadly Allience will be the bomb, and ill have my paws on it in a heatbeat.

Soul Calibur 2 is the bomb. I freakin' kick anyone in that game at the arcade. Anyhow I like Tekken 4 better, I've never really liked MK series that quite well.

I pick Mortal Kombat only because i liked the previous games. I like the fast gameplay of MK.

Seemed like a commercial man, HE THREW HIS SPEAR AT THE SCREEN, and it stabbed it, and you get pulled close to his face, as he says "Get over here!!!"

I don't like Mortal Kombat (the older ones) for this reason: Everyone's moves were the same. Basically everyone has high punch, everyone has low punch, low kick and low punch. Come on. . .I mean all the basic attacks are the same no matter who you pick. Their special moves are different. But the basic moves are all the same. Unlike Street Fighter where Zangeif's fighting style and punches and kicks are far different than Ken's fighting stlye and punches.

Tekken 4 is out in the UK and Japan, it should come out in the US today (shipping date), I think.

Hmm i am like the BIGGEST fighting game fan ever!!!!! If there was a bigger market for it, and more developers created fighting games, i would ONLY buy fighting games!!! :) so i really dont understand mentality like yours... :) but thats me!! we are all different

But to choose from tekken4 or mk5?? dude thats too hard!!! ive played tekken4 for like 20minutes, and im the BIGGEST fan of the mk series... had all the mk games, bought the mk1 and mk2 movies, my fav characters were by far scorpion, reptile and sub zero... guess my all time fav is scorpion... hes got some pretty cool moves!! :)

But if i HAVE to choose (*sob*) id have to go with mk5!! ive never been a playstation guy myself, so i have no relationship to the tekken series... but who knows how mk5 will turn out?? it might prove to be really bad...

And whats all this talk about soul caliber 2?!!! what is that?? a fighting game?? for the cube?? when is its release expected? or does it even have a release date yet? anyone know where i can find info bout it??

Soul Calibur was a release for the dreamcast. ( really good fighting game )..

Anyways, Tekken 4 came out Tuesday, The 24th here, I'm gonna get it tomorrow, beat it the same day, so forth.

Nov. 15th, is the due date for Mortal Kombat..

So lets see.

Heh... i think maybe tekken4 will kick mk's ass... sorry to say it, but i dont think the mk guys; midway / acclaim have what it takes to make a GOOD 3d game... the tekken guys have had lots of experience with it... and ive played tekken4 it ROCKS!!! But for now i choose mk5... well just see what happens... maybe it'll be good, maybe not... :) :)
