View Full Version : Blu-ray Dominating in Japan

Well, in Japan at least and according to just one side. In an interview with Matsushita's Kazuhiro Tsuga it's said that Blu-ray playback equipment commands 96% of HD playback equipment in Japan. At present, it's generally just Warner Bros. that is releasing HD DVD's there and they are day and date with the Blu-ray release. The majority of them are also ports of the US releases with localized menus and added subtitle/audio options.

Just let Blu-Ray win.

Blue is awesome and the cases for Blu-Ray are more appealing and fresh to me.
I also like the Blu-Ray logo more since HD-DVD logo is the same as DVD with just the 'HD' prefix- YAWNtastic.
