6 360 games
3 wii games
1 ps3 game
They talk about ea taking ps3 resources and using them for 360 and wii games as at this point its to hard to make a profit .
This is also talking about winter 2007 games which is generaly the holiday (even though there is only like a month of winter in the states at that time of year)

The only EA game I even think about buying is Burnout (which is not really a EA game) and it's coming to the PS3 so :whogives:

If EA ruins Command and Conquer, I will deal with them personally. I have no clue as to how I'm going to do this.

I cannot wait for Command and Conquer. At this point it makes sense to do what EA is doing.

I personally hate EA, so what they do is irrelivent to me.
Yeah, personally, the less games I get from EA, the better. However, for the Wii's sake, I'm glad it's getting more.

i dont think you guys understand that if the ps3 (or any of the other systems) were to lose support from EA... that it would be a huge loss whether if you like the games or not.

That said. EA's games usually suck and it's not worth the effort to figure out what doesn't.
The last (and only) EA game I ever bought was Sim City 3, and my friend sold it to me for 3 dollars.

Many people attribute the fall of the DC based on a complete lack of EA support. Sega couldn't replace what EA would have given them and Sony garnered all the EA support.
As messed up as EA is as a developer, if they do not support the PS3 very much yet shower the X360 with it, Sony may find itself in last place this gen. Europe which is a market expected to become the largest gaming market in the world this generation is a huge supporter of EA products. Their games dominate the Euro charts. Losing Europe and partly NA to X360 because of a lack of EA support is a very, very sharp blow to Sony and a tremendous boon to MS.

Yes EA is much more important to the casual crowd and much more important than any gives them credit for. 360 has the fanbase and Wii is gaining it plus the fact that Wii is getting obviously good choices and a nice mix of genres with SSX Blur, Godfather, and Tiger Woods (which is a perfect match for Wii...not to mention already getting Madden). It appears EA is trying to clean up their act this gen...

If EA really used to the potential of the Wii I would become their biggest fan. Wii is just screaming for a a unique build for Madden or an NHL game. I'm not talking about tacked on motion sensing controlls. Something build from the ground up just for the Wii would quickly change my opinion of EA.

Alot of people say its because of EA. But Sega at the time had 2k sports which offered much better games then EA's counterpart. 2k sports also implemented online gameplay over the dreamcast. I don't think it was the lack of EA that did it. I think they just kind of released at a bad time.

The 2K brand may have been of more quality but as we all know brand recognition stomps on quality with a high heel spike when it comes to financial success.
Madden and other EA brands were much more well known to the masses and though the 2K series may have been the better game, if million of gamers simply turned their collective noses and waited for the console that played their favorite footy series, the home of 2K was doomed.
Sure, there were other factors that played into the demise but a lack of EA was a contributer on a level that cannot be ignored by any other console manufacturer lest history prove a broken record once again.

Me and my friend were talking about this after some Wii sports boxing and Fight Night Round 3. If people actually try, the Wii could have some of the best damn sports games ever, and i just cant wait for a Fight Night for it.
