So, who's buying the DVD's?

Captain N on DVD's (http://www.amazon.com/Captain-N-Game-Master-Complete/dp/B000JBXHVY/sr=1-1/qid=1169483256/ref=sr_1_1/103-6734863-2379862?ie=UTF8&s=dvd)

It's pretty cheap too.

Ah, Captain N...was wondering if anyone here actually shared my love of that series.

I plan on getting it on DVD. And I dont think the Captain N character should necessarily be considered dead either. Still has some legs I think.

I used to watch the show as a kid, but I don't imagine that I'd like it now because of how grossly inaccurate the cartoon is. None of the characters are right and I think they used "Metroid" as the name for where Samus and Mother Brain came from rather than for a creature. I think these horrible inaccuracies would keep me from finding any entertainment at all from the cartoon today.

There might be one redeeming element, though, if my memory serves me well. There used to be a cartoon surrounding Super Mario Bros. 3, and I liked it very much, and if I remember correctly it was sort of a sub-section of the Captain N cartoon. If so, that part of the show might be the only element I would appreciate today.

Well the cool thing about it was the concept. Yes, they butchered some of the characters' identities. But the concept of jumping into game worlds and making plots based around that is pretty dang cool.

As much as I loved Captain N as a kid, I have a feeling its going to be ROFLMAO bad through the eyes of a 22 year old. Some times its best to leave things in the past.

Goonies never say die !!!!!

I love watching the old stuff because I remember alot of it and it just makes me feel 5 again . Its the same feeling I get when I start playing the original super mario brothers. I feel like its christmass even in 86' when i opened up my nes console and my father and I played mario brothers for 5 hours strait and he never got past board 1-2 .

I LOVE watching things that were great as a kid and are bad/funny now! Look at GI Joe the movie. Even better, watch the "Knowing Is Half The Battle" segments on the DVD.

Anyway, I loved Captain N and agree with whoever said it was an awesome concept. If it's only bad-funny, I'll enjoy the laughter and its nostalgia. But I also agree that it might still have legs.
