Gripshift's trailer has been very poorly encoded. Does anyone know where to find it in decent quality?

EDIT: Try this for now (http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/860/860481/vid_1886635.html)

BioWare's Mass Effect in development for PS3?

Is BioWare currently developing for PS3? Well, word on the interweb says a tentative yes.

According to a report on Shacknews, BioWare CEO Ray Muzyka apparently let slip to gamers attending the Video Games Live concert in Edmonton, Canada earlier in the week that the dev's working with Sony's new console

There's been no follow-up confirmation or denial from the studio as yet, but we're hoping to prise that from its jaws later today.

Should BioWare be developing for PS3, would it be its shooter-RPG Mass Effect that's to grace the console as well as Xbox 360? Or does the developer have plans to release its yet-to-be-fully-announced MMORPG on the machine? Or would it be an entirely new IP?

Funny. It seemed as if the media was expecting many PS3 exclusives to go to 360 as well, but recently, it looks like 360 is actually the one which could be missing more exclusives to PS3 than viceversa.

^ yeah, I know. A lot of the so-called '360 exclusive" titles don't have that "Only on XBox 360" logo. So, they are just exclusive (for Microsoft) until their PS3 version will be announced.

Btw, speaking of exclusives: I heard there's a new version of Motorstorm for download in the PS Store. Anyone here who knows the difference?

Really? I never heard of a "new" motorstorm or a revised version at all in the store, I'll give it a look-see.

65nm CELL processor production started
Added on 30/01/2007.

Sony Computer Entertainment has started production on the previously announced 65nm CELL processor. All PlayStation 3 units so far have a 90nm processor inside, but this will change soon. As it seems Sony has started the massproduction of the 65nm processor, and this will have a few advantages.

First of all, this will mean a price cut for Sony on every PlayStation 3 sold. This is because the 65nm CELL processor is cheaper than the 90nm processor.

And second, this means a heatreduction for the PlayStation 3.

Also this 'new' processor is not only for the PlayStation 3, it's will also be used for more Sony or Toshiba products.

Whether this new 65nm processor will be in all PlayStation 3 units at the European launch is unknown. We expect Sony to announce this in the coming months. Don't expect a price drop though, because Sony will still lose a lot of money with this 'new' processor.

Great news on the 65nm process. In the report today about lowered shipments of PSP, they say that Sony will break even on the PS3 very soon:

The company expects to stop taking losses on PS3 hardware in the next term, Sony CFO (chief financial officer) Nobuyuki Oneda announced at the financial briefing. One means of doing this will be through smaller chip sizes. The company has already started manufacturing CELL chips using a 65 nanometer process, Japan's IT Media reports.
