I do plan to getting around to as many of these games as I can SOMETIME this year. There's not too much coming out I'm looking at, and having a stack of 50 something odd games will make sure I have stuff to play all year long. I just hope I end up getting around to all of it... I'll edit this and strike out any title I finish.
Wish me luck.

haha good luck koten maybe you'll be able to pass me in the games you've beaten thread if you attack some of those...mine on the other hand...I'm done with those I played them and got bored of them mainly due to repetition, and just like deadcell...every time a new game comes out I buy it and forget the last game I was playing...it's a habit I know but that's why you have GameFly :-D

You think 2 PS1 games are bad? koten's still trying to beat SNES and 64 games!
And if I had seen koten's I surely would've commented on that instead. The worst part is that Super Mario RPG is a part of that collection. You should be ashamed for not finishing that game koten!!
This thread makes me feel bad as a gamer...
PSX:
Xenogears: Im about 40-50 hours into it and about to start the second disc (which i heard was rubbish) but its been such a long time since i played it, i forgot a lot of the story so i think ima restart it
FFVII: Like 7 hours in so not a big deal if i pick up and play it to continue it.
PS2:
MGS 3: Well i just beat 2 so natrually 3 would be next, but ima have a lot of problem going through this like i did 1 and 2 since the story has yet to really grip cause honestly, i dont play these games for their gameplay, i play them cause Snake is the shit.
FFX: Im on Sin and i just gave up ever since i saw him pull that sword out of his belly and pwn my dudes. Yeah yea, i should go and get the better Aeons but meh, i dont think its worth it anyway.
Xenosaga Ep. III: After the severe disappointment that was ep 2 (partly gameplay, partly shift in story (albiet still good), and a lot on the change of voices (its a big deal when the game is baisically a big movie and the first had such great actors), im anxious to get started on this since i heard that a good amount of problems were remedied, but ive been pre-ocupied
Devil May Cry: On an impulse buy, and cause they were cheap, i decided to buy all three DMC's. Getting frustrated by the end of 1, i decided to jump to three, beat that (and it rocked) but never went back to 1, which i should probably do. As for 2, ive heard way to many bad things to warrent opening it up.
Dot//Hack vol III: Its starting to get boring now since all im doing is trying to find virus cores, although the story is very entertaining.
Dot//Hack GU: Have yet to open it, but the cover looks cool so it should only be a matter of time.
Wii:
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess: Well, im about thirty hours into it, and i would keep going, but i ran out of batteries and was to lazy to buy some until recently so im back on that.
DS:
Advanced Wars: I already beat it now im just redoing it on hard to get more money and stuff, but damn is it hard
Resident Evil: I have yet to open it since Christmas
And i think thats it

Wow I wonder if the developers know this? About 50% of the gamers it seems never get to the end maybe developers should take that into consideration? Or maybe us gamers should stop being so lazy? How come a lot of you never finished RE4? I finished it without a walkthrough in about 20 hours. I started my second run through on the harder difficulty but got sidetracked.

Tales of Symphonia (Bought it for my brother, way too long and boring)

That stack of games you have not beat
Haven't beat? Heck, I've got a stack of games I haven't even opened. I rarely have time to play through a game to completion before moving on to something else, so the stack of unbeaten games is probably huge, though I've never went through counting.
Out of roughly 300 games in my collection, I probably haven't beaten at least half of them, and probably have about forty to fifty that I haven't even played. I tend to get games that I want to play but end up not getting around to it.

I usually have too many games to 100% finish, in the past years these have added up as I've been busy with my final year of school. Luckily I've managed to clear about 10 games(I think) over the long break. But here's what the piece of paper on the wall says:
-Gamecube
Metroid Prime 2
Zelda 1
Sonic Heroes
Sonic Adventure 2
Killer 7
RE4
Zelda 4 Swords
Fire Emblem
Pokemon Coloseum
VJ2
Batallion Wars
RE Remake
-GBA
Pokemon games
Zelda MC
DKC3
Fire Emblem SS
-DS
Yoshi Touch and go
Mario and Luigi
Metroid Hunters
Animal Crossing
-PSone
Vagrant Story
-PC
GTA 3-SA
-Wii
Zelda TP
Super Monkey Ball
Wii Play
Wii Sports
Trying to clear off some Gamecube games before I get snowed in with 20 odd PS2 games.

Oh laud, I was just thinking about this.
PS2:
Final Fantasy X-2: Was on the last area but I needed to level up so I said screw it.
Xenosaga II: Bought this for uber cheap online, but will not play until I get the first.
Sega Genesis Collection: Most of them.
Dragon Quest VIII: If I ever am in the mood to finish this game, it will be the last one. So Goddamned long!
Cold Fear: Borrowing from a friend, but am a decent ways through it.
MGS3: Subsistence: Beat The End but then got distracted with WoW and some other games.
Resident Evil 4: Again, distracted.
Gran Turismo 4(?): Played like 20 minutes of license tests. Love the fail music!
MAXIMO: GHOSTS TO GLORY: THIS GAME WILL NOT EVER BE BEATEN! I HATE THIS GAME!
Gamecube:
Battalion Wars: I really do not like this game so I have sold it for more than double what I paid for it($10).
Donkey Kong Junglebeat: I need to have some alone time to play this. I hate interuptions by my family when I play games like this. "ZOMG IZ DAT A DRUM??!?"
Chibi-Robo: Got pretty far in it, loved it, but got a PS2 soon after.
Wii:
Elebits: I'm on the last three or four levels and my gawd, fuck this. 50000 Watts my ass.
Metal Slug: Need to beat four of them.
I just HAD to get a PS2...

I cant believe you and eman made me buy Pd0. And Ive also beaten like 2 of my 10 or so 360 games. Only I did beat cod 2, but not 3.
I suck at gaming these days. I too only beat the best of 'em. RE4, TP, Yoshi's Island DS. The list goes on. But not for long. I get bored and dont finish about 75-90% of my games. :(
I need to update this list for my own sake:

Well... I wasn't planning on updating this until after I finished GoWII (which I will do a week or so after I actually manage to purchase the game), but the thread was bumped, so here we go.
I've finished 7 games since my first post in this thread, so that brings my grandtotal to 53 including the addition of GoWII.

So yeah, while I'm waiting for GoWII I'm going to attack the hell out of the GBA collection. I dunno why, but I really wanna play GBA for some reason.
Games Left: 45
Do you just buy them assuming you'll play them later at some point? I mean, come on, you haven't beaten Yoshi Touch and Go? it's an arcade-style game. it only takes like 20 minutes to "beat."

^Quite honestly, yes.
I had the whole "I'll buy these three right now, play this one righ away and then play the other two after." Then I would do that every two or three weeks and it kinda started piling up.
Though, this year I'm cutting the habit cold turkey. I have decided that I will only buy 5 games (GoWII, Metroid Prime 3, Super Paper Mario, Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros Brawl). The rest of the year will be filled with the old games I haven't gotten to yet. I will make sure that this list drops down to a max of 10 titles by the end of the year.
