That's great lol people always forget about the high tech PCs. Crysis might just out beat Gears too. It seems even more next gen then Gears.

I don't like PC gaming very much cause every year or so, some company comes out with a new game that needs a buhmillion gigs of ram and new graphic cards to play.

I don't have the time, I don't have the patience and I seriously don't have the money.

I agree koten I gave up on hardcore PC gaming years ago. It seemed every time I went to buy a new game my PC couldn't run it. It's really assanine if you ask me and that's why PC gaming isn't as strong as it used to be (no WoW doesn't count).

As soon as Crysis comes out I'm going to wish I saved up all that money on this computer for a new one...$2,500 will get me a state of the art computer...or a new car...or an HDTV...also a deposit on an apartment...

And ya, PC gaming is expensive, even console gaming is pretty expensive with how many games people buy.

Yes, but the point is, once you buy the hardware, you're set. With PCs every few months it's a new this or a new that. I'm a college kid... I don't have the money.

Even if you did have the money, you have to be pretty hardcore (nerdy, whatever) to keep on spending it on upgrading your PC.

My friend used to constantly update his PC so his account was hovering around £100 mark and since he stopped playing PC games, he has over £1000 in his account :thumpsup:

Mind you though, he doesn't have to pay rent or anything but it goes to show you how much you can save if you are not a PC gamer.

Well with PCs. I don't upgrade every month or whatever it is usually, I normally just get a totally new computer every 3 or 4 years. I'm not saying it's not more expensive though, it certainly is, but of course it has nice perks.

I do honestly prefer console gaming though for similar reasons, one plop down every 5 years, but some games on PC *cough Warcraft III cough* are some I like to enjoy as well. And of course games like Crysis make you want the hardware, I'll probably in 2 years time have a new computer to play it on.

Anyways, I didn't mean to get into discussion about anything lol, I just love the gif hehe, thought I'd share it.

Say what argument you need but in terms of brute power, the PC wins. You can play the 'it's not a console' card all you want but the fact of the matter is it still plays games and most of them also on the consoles.

Now that the PS3 runs Linux, *gasp*, is it no longer a console?

^I agree Viper, it doesn't matter, just get what you want. The PC is more powerful, but you gotta pay, the consoles have different price, different power, different features, different control schemes, etc. etc. as does the PC.

Just choose, don't criticize others for making a different choice than yourself. It's clear there is worth in all the consoles and PC gaming because people still buy them. Worth to you is up to you though.

Enjoy your own choice, be glad other people are enjoying theirs.

I still laugh at this gif btw, my favourite part is t3h gears and t3h potential lol. The No! Wii! is also really cute hahhaha.
