...since I am getting a DS lite, (which I think is no secret to everyone...) I am going to pick up a few DS titles in the next couple weeks to go with it...I already have Metroid Hunters, Mario Kart, New Super Mario, Warioware (although I don't like it much), and had Meteos (liked but just got tired of it), Feel the Magic (same) and Animal Crossing, which I got rid of...any suggestions? WiFi games are always a plus but it doesn't have to be WiFi enabled by any means. I also want Kirby Canvas Curse still if the game weren't impossible to find...I love Elite Beat Agents from what I've played but am holding off on that for a couple weeks.

I'm pretty sure I want the following:
-Diddy Kong Racing (Non-negotiable)
-Star Fox Command
-Final Fantasy III
-Children of Mana
-Sonic Rush
-Mario vs DK 2
-Trace Memory

These are just a few, but since I can't get them all, should I avoid any? Got a better suggestion? Thanks in advance for the help!

I want Canvas Curse! The problem is it's near impossible to find. I should've bought it when I could a year or so ago.

It really is an awesome game.

DRAGON QUEST HEROES: ROCKET SLIME

Trust me. It rocks out loud.

Also of note is that many things in this game parody other games. Such as enemy tanks named "Chrono Twigger" and a slime named "Crystal Chronicaller"

Also there is a tank named "DQ:Swordz" and it's subtitle is "The Revolution is coming. WEE!"

I found that rather interesting.... The wee part more than anything.

Are you saying not to get Trace Memory?

No, I realized you already have it on your list.

I definitely agree on picking up Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime because that game is so much fun. Well at least I had a blast playing it and I need to go pick up that Diddy Kong racing game too.

Trauma Center, Phoenix Wright, and Castlevania. These are the games you must absolutely get to enjoy the DS to its fullest.

After that, I'd recommend Trace Memory (I know it's on your list!), Hotel Dusk, and Advance Wars.

I never played Canvas Curse, but it's supposed to be awesome. Also, Sonic Rush is sorta short, but it's the best new Sonic. If you like puzzles, then you may like Polarium. Sadly, after you've beaten the last puzzle, there is just a feeling of emptiness.

That's just a small list of the games that I'd recommend.

lol, today a friend of mine that i hadn't seen in a while came up and told me he had gotten a DS lite and wanted to ask about games. I knew he was sort of into games, but not a big gamer or anything, so i was surprised when the conversation went something like this:

Him: So I'm definitely gonna get Mario Kart...
Me: Of course.
Him: What about Metroid Hunters? I've heard that's pretty cool...
Me: Yeah!
Him: But I'm trying to decide between that and Tetris DS, but I think Metroid's probably a bit better...
Me: Yup.
Him: But isn't aiming with the stylus pretty awkward? I've heard it takes some getting used to...
Me: Yeah...
Him: What about Elite Beat Agents? It looks like so much fun!
Me: Yes!

Obviously it wasn't exactly like that, but it was basically just me agreeing with everything he said. Hell, when he said Elite Beat Agents i was completely shocked. It's probably my favorite DS game yet, but I never would have thought of suggesting it to him.
