So yeah, looking for something different this time. Not Harry Potter/LOTR type books, but something unusual.

Mix of thriller, fantasy, adventure.......I know its highly unlikely that theres a book with all these elements done together well, but if you guys know of any, then post the titles here.

MATTHEW REILLY!

Hes an Aussie author who writes the only books ive ever read on my own accord. They are litterally non-stop action the whole way through.

Im a really slow reader. I cant stress this enough. But I read 90% of his newest book 'Seven Ancient Wonders' in 2 days, which for me is a huge feat. I highly reccommend that.

Also, Ice Station, Temple, and Contest are my other 3 favorites of his, but every other one he's done is 10/10. (I can only remember Scarcrow, Area 7 and Hover Car Racer, i think thats all of them).

The website doesnt really do it for me, unlike his books. Just go buy em all. Youll only regret it if your a loser. Are you a loser?

Read the "Like Mike" script.

The IMDB page. (www.imdb.com/title/tt0308506/)
Pretty much the true Bible. (http://www.script-o-rama.com/movie_scripts/l/like-mike-script-transcript-bow-wow.html)

If you are a fan of pretention: House of Leaves, by Mark Z. Danielewski.

But you really have to be dedicated.

Last few times I read it I've sat at the computer with Google and Wikipedia at the ready.. I've made pages and pages of notes.

I slept with the light on.

Try some Brian Jacques. He wrote the Redwall series, including the books "Redwall," "Pearls of Lutra," and "Taggerung," all really good reads. There's more in the series, but those are the flagship ones in my opinion.

^You worthless POS.

Only just noticed this thread. I will most definitely check out The Wheel of Time Series after I'm done with J.Deavers Cold Moon.

And Cubist, that book sounds interesting, will try a read on that most likely in the summer.

+rep to everyone who contributed.
