My PR director and the group were walking through the Landing and ran into Billy Joel buying cigars. They chatted for a while and she asked him to call a friend, me, and he did. I answer the phone recognizing the number as hers and the frikkin Piano Man is on the phone. I almost dropped my damn phone.

^It went something like that for a bout 10 seconds. I basically said thanks for taking time to call a fan just out of the blue and not part of some promotional deal and then we sang For the Longest Time.....j/k about that part.

Ain't that some shit though? They had what apparently were their girlfriends posing as fans to sell the facade. People had them sign autographs and take pics. They even got the royal treatment at a classy restaurant there.
