This very sweet news. I new it was getting made, but now we have a date.

And before all the haters out there start saying Indie is "Too Old" think about this for a second. Indie is the consummate adventurer, right? Would he ver stop raiding tombs and kicking some ass till he was killed by some,e crazy native in some obscure part of the jungle deep in Africa or something?

And Ford still looks RIPPED for an older guy. His last couple of movies where great. I loved Firewall. Kicked ass in that one he did. Bring on the Jones man! One last adventure for the whip and the hat!

I'm not a hater, but he's pretty old.

*Indiana Jones music*
*Harrison Ford jumps*
*Spine crack*
*Fall on spike*
*death*

Crew- I knew we should have gotten a new actor.
Spielberg- Nonsense! He is as good as ever!
Crew- I can see his guts...And I think one of his eyeballs fell out
Spielberg- *Runs away*

I still like watching the Indiana Jones movies just as much as I did when I was younger. I'm really looking forward to and dreading this movie at the same time...also, deadboyz wants Harrison Ford's bod.

YeeHaw! This is gonna be awesome. The Indiana Jones box set is the one i watch most out of all of my box sets. Easily one of the best trilogies. Im hoping ol' Mr. Connery gets back in. That would make my day.

But still, its like, a year and a bit away. :(

I've made an Indy 4 thread every year since like, 2003, and I'm ever so stoked that we finally have a date.

So first a new Rocky and Diehard movie, and now an Indy film? I really hope they don't mess it up, the original trilogy is so awesome!

I hope this isn't true. There is no way Indiana Jones fathered the kid from Even Stevens.

i am glad he is doing the next movie, it would be cool if at the end, you see Hitler run out and shoot him, just for kicks. But i think that will be in the directors cut heheheh.

raiders of the lost arc was good, doom was meh, and the last crusade was EXCELLENT!

The Temple of Doom and its association with "meh" shouldn't happen.

And I want an Indy hat. :(

It cost me 40 bucks, but it's 100% suede.

I liked all of the movies, even the Temple of Doom. It seemed so much darker at the time and different from the other two.

Indiana Jones *love sigh*
Really though, Harrison Ford was steamy in the original movies. I sort of don't want my man-hunk image in my mind tarnished by old-hunk Indiana.
I hope the movie turns out as good as the originals, but I highly doubt that will happen.

I don't know what to think. Raiders and Last Crusade are both in my top ten of all time, but Lucas has been on a total crapstreak lately. They thought it out over a peroid of about ten years, so hopefully they know what they're doing. I'm certain Ford will have no problem getting into the role again because he was born to play it, but I'm just worried about Lucas and/or Spielberg taking it too far over the top in terms of storyline and new characters, especially since this is to be the final film.

well, i hope the new movies will be as good as the old ones, but the addition of a son will be sorta a gimik, and you just know indy will die in the end as a result of his son either being held for ransom or from just plain stupidity, but hell its taken them long enough

*crosses fingers* hope they do good

hearing the theme music in a cinema is enough to warrant going to see it.

Latest tidbits I know about the movie....

- Indiana MAY have a son who will be played as Shia LaBeouf. (dam I really hope it’s false, but from what I’m hearing from a buddy of mine it may be true)

- The rumor title of the movie is Indiana Jones And The City Of Gods. (Reported by Empire, The best magazine in the world)

- Blanchett has signed on for the movie
