i kow everyone is use to hearing about peyton manning, but this thread is about his brother eli manning. nfl.com's mock draft sees eli manning going to the san diego chargers. i know everyone knows that,but do you guys see eli manning having a future on a team like the chargers. i mean c'mon they were one of the worse teams in the league last year.

Chargers had a worse record i think...at least this time their smart enought to get the top pick, we cant forget bout Micheal Vick who they let go. Experts say Eli could eventually be better than Payton.

i know can you beleive that, i don't think he's going to be better than peyton manning, but he's going to be good. oh and by the way the chargers had a worse record then the cardinals that's why the people on nfl.com say the chargers are going to get the pick first. that's great for the chargers, their in deperate need for a quarterback.

The Colts were a horrible team before they drafted Peyton, so I see Eli turning around the Chargers. I mean c'mon, they already have the best running back in the league and with a great quarterback they can go far.

yup, edgerin james just made the colts look bad. well he made their running game look bad. i don't know how you can play so good at the begininng of your career and then totally suck after 5 years.

If he's as good of a quarterback as a lot of people think, heck yeah he could have a good future with the Chargers. I don't remember the Colts being perennial contenders until Payton got there. It only takes a year or two for a team to go from a losing season to a SuperBowl now days. A better question might be, "do you guys see the chargers having a future with a quarterback like eli manning?" I do.

No, i think Priest Holmes had a deep bone brose in his hip, and James tore his ACL. The ACL thing was much more serious.

both ahman green and ladanian tomlinson had a great season last year, but i would rather have ahman green on my team. also ahman green has a great quarterback like brett favre on his team and once eli manning is on the chargers landanian tomlinson is going to turn out even better than last year. hopefuly eli manning will have a bright future in the nfl as well as his father did, and as his brother did last season and many years to come.

I dont think even Eli can turn that team around. Their O line sucks somethin terrible and Boston their only good reciever is gone. The draft altogether could turn the team around tho.
