I've been playing the 360 demo version to warm up.

Going by the demos, this is a score for PS3. The PS3 version has a more stable(but still not spot on) frame rate, and seems to have higher res. It may just be sharper due to hdmi.

Also, I don't suck at the PS3 version. :)

360 version may have better lighting, not sure.. But the frame rate in the 360 version is so nasty, the frames seem to come in bunches. It's difficult to tell with the lighting, I'm not comparing like track with like.

World of difference in the reflections on the cars. PS3 version has full reflections, 360 version has pretty nasty fakes. Hardly reflections at all, just plain lighting.

Question: Does it use 6axis (tilt function)?

Seriously, in bunches. A bunch of frames come, then a gap, then a bunch of frames. Nastiest uneven frame rate in any 360 game, full auto.

What else, PS3 version has frame buffer effects, 360 version doesn't. Core Image effects we'd call them on the Mac, :) PS3 cars look metallic, 360 ones kinda plastic.

Got an online game right away...! that's unusual.

No motion control that I can find, there's a control menu in pause but nope, nothing.

PS3 version has 7.1 surround sound....!

I think the server has been getting really busy in the past couple of weeks. My computer's net is running fine but full auto is downloading at a crawl.

Anyway, great demo, but the controls are a little confusing. I'd give anything for some kind of auto-aiming.

Yeah, the clue as to why so many 360 ports to PS3 dissappoint is in playing the games. Played COD3 to the end, and you see script errors where timed events don't happen, NPCs walking through walls, that kind of thing. Bugs that could have been picked up through basic play testing.

Very quick hack port jobs. And sure, if you're only going to sell a few thousand for a launch game anyway why not.

No excuse for games coming out now though. :)

framerate is choppy, graphics ain't great, controls suck, gameplay sucks, etc. i miss twisted metal...

I couldn't download it, it would get to 9% or 5% and then i would get "an error has occured during download" and i would have to exit the store and then bring it back up again to try.. maybe it was just overloaded.

I enjoyed it but like others said, glad I didnt buy it. It's fast and easy once you get the controls down.

Burnout is better. I played one shot at this and deleted it, not too impressed. It's got some nice things going on but the handling/controls are spotty.

Just finished downloading and playing for about a half hour....what the hell, I actually liked it - lol.

The graphics are certainly not mind-blowing, the controls are floaty but I had a good time with the Race and Gladitor modes. The controls felt just fine except every so often in the heat of battle I would press the Boost button instead of the Reverse button and slam myself into a conrete wall and blow up.

Deffinately not bad for free. I think I will purchase this title once they slice a few Hamilton's off of it.

Nah, won't buy it. If I see it in a bargain bin for $10 it's mine though.

But definately sucks less than the 360 version, whey hey!

mild fun, but at least it's something to have. It's staying on my hard drive until I feel like deleting it hehe
