Getting my Windows Tinted!

I'm pretty excited. Not sure why, because my car will get broken into more often now, I'm guessing. It'll look pretty whilst it's happening, though.

I just dropped it off, but I'll take some pictures with my phone when I get it this afternoon.

I went with 20% on my back windows, technically its illegal to tint the front ones in California. I'm not sure how tint makes you more of a target for vandalism though :) I do it mainly for the look, though technically i guess it protects the leather and keeps the car cooler too.

I'm not a huge fan of tinting, though that might have something to do with the stereotypical assholes that drive about with their Windows tinted in this country.

We have those people here too, usually they drive a beat up Cavalier or Grand Am and have their bass up so loud that you can hear the cheap plastic rattle on their car as you walk by.

Done right, window tint can look great.

I'm just getting 35%, the legal limit in TN. I'm mostly doing it for the look, too, but it will help keep me cool in the summer months, as well, I suppose. Also, at night it will be exceedingly difficult to see in my car. That's helpful, considering I have about a grand of stereo equiptment in there, as well as a 30gig iPod video. So, like 1250$ of stuff.
