Chimaira is coming out with another album a week from now. Now that they have thier old drummer Andols is back, they brought back the old school. I downloaded the album already and its pretty god damned amazing. You can hear that they put alot of effort into this record. Anyone who likes Chimaira will not be dissappointed. You can check out thier myspace for 2 out of the 13 songs on Resurrection.

I got an advance a month or so ago, seems like a pretty decent album to me. Personally I still prefer Pass Out of Existence and The Impossibility of Reason out of all their albums.

I still need to purchase Pass Out of Existence. I also preordered the cd/dvd edition which SHOULD come autographed. Can't wait...

I listened to the album in full and this album has a much darker, more sinister atmosphere about it and I must say, I FREAKING LOVE IT! There is some great guitar work, and great drumming with Andols back on the set. There are also alot of additional effects thrown in to make the mood even more set in darkness.

Yeah I love the effects too. There are alot of 808 Bass Drops, and thats good. Sounds really heavy. couple of my favs are Resurrection, No Reason to Live, and The Flame deffinatly being the best.

Worthless gets me pumped for some reason, but the complexity of each song is equally impressive.
