I didn't get into AC:WW until this past Christmas, because the first copy I bought on release was broken and I got pissed and didn't pick it up again til a year later.
So, I love cute things. And I like my town's residents and I pick which ones I want to con into staying in case they try to pack up. And this is a pain, because if I miss like 2 days, one of my favorite will leave.
Which is how Tangy moved out.
And Purrl.
And now Pompom.
I hate Animal Crossing because it makes me care about keeping these lifeless characters in my town, only to have their sorry butts move out if I don't whore myself out to the game everyday.
I like AC, but I hate feeling that you "have" to play everyday or you lose characters, etc.
Bye Pompom, you were :queer: anyway.

I was in tears when Carrie left for my best friend's town. It was like breaking up with the girlfriend I never had.

Yeah, one of the things I hate the most is how often, spontaneously and irreversibly people move out of your town. That and how they never do any work around town. If you stop playing for a while and come back, the town looks like crap even though there are like a dozen perfectly capable animals living there.

I hate the game too. But because it feels so lonely.

I didn't enjoy the game at all to be honest. it was fun the first few days that I played, but got too tedious and demanding of my time. I said fuck this game pretty quickly and traded it in relatively quickly. It wasn't worth my time to play a game that would lead me no where to completion. I'll never pick up another animal crossing title to be completely honest with you.

i had this bad ass penguin how was in my town. Everyone else left but him, then one day when I turned the game on he was gone. I still have the letters we shared, the clothes he designed, the memory of his smile.
I don't think I've played my Animal Crossing game for about a year. The game upset me on the Gamecube (I had one of those 54 block memory cards, as they didn't come out with anything else yet. I had to clear my memory card to play the game...there went my uber-awesome Smash Bros data...for a game that had nothing to it) and I only picked up the DS one to play online with my girlfriend.
The game was still pretty much the same. You leave for a day and the town goes completely to shit and because you aren't an animal, you have to clean it up. You're forever in debt too. You finish off paying a loan and suddenly, you have another one slapped onto you. I think the game is trying to teach us a lesson: never take a loan. Ever.
My girlfriend wouldn't shut up about one thing about the game. One of my neighbors moved over there and kept showing her a letter I sent (I think the character was Robin). She wouldn't shut up about a typo I made. It was rather annoying.

Wow, I was thinking about picking up this game when I could find a used copy, but now forget it.
I can pull weeds on my own time.

I hate those damn weeds. My brother and I share a town and he won't pick them because he thinks they make the town look good

I watched a friend of mine play it, and I have no idea how anyone enjoys that game. I guess it's just not for me.
I bought the game from eBay a few years ago. Then I let a friend borrow it while my Q was being repaired. Still haven't got around to getting it back.

I hated the Gamecube one, the DS one was better, but I still don't care for it.

The DS one sucked because it didn't have NES games. And you couldn't make your own patterns at anytime without paying money to do so. I made myself an awesome Metroid pattern on Cube.
Because of the VC, I doubt the Wii one will have NES games now. It'd be nice if you could put your VC games in your house. Not as good as earning new ones though.
