HOME is planned to come to PSP's and Mobiles,
- There is an integrated friends list,
- User-created content can be made,
- There will be an auction service for you to sell your Home assets and user-created content to gain revenue,
- Users can meet in Home and seemlessly launch a multiplayer game,
- Users can exit games and go straight into Home,
- You can travel instantly to places via the world-map, or if you fancy a wander you can go by foot,
- Music can be "played" to other users in your space, but it cannot be "shared", that is it cannot be passed on
- Avatars will only resemble adults, not children
- Users can do whatever they like in Private Spaces
- Only users on your buddy list can enter your space
- Retailers (eg. GAME) can have their own lobbies for commercial operations

They should let you adjust the height of your avatar.
You know, so it'll be easier for the priests that feel like racking up some PS3.

out of that list only one is going to have a huge effect and thats selling home assets... start saving fellas because the virtual world is about to mirror the real world - but i think its cool though. how many people are going to want to impress their virtual girlfriend/boyfriend with what they have in there HOME... this is groundbreaking stuff here and will have psychological effects on users

Q: Will I be able to attend ticketed (paid-for) special events?
Yes, in time Home will play host to many types of event. Bespoke events such
as exclusive game previews and developer interviews will be organised by
Home and its affiliated content providers. Live events such as sports and
concerts may also be broadcast within Home.

HOME is going to be amazing =-o
HOME is going to be REAL 'this is living' 'beyond the box' in the 'fourth dimention'
remember the adds of the PSP in real world places in subways, on buses, on the side of buildings... this was a subliminal nod at HOME

Q: What content will users be able to purchase from within Home?
Over time the range of content available to users will expand dramatically. If
you consider Home to be a simulacra of the real world then most goods and
services found within the real world could theoretically be replicated within
Home. Initially all commercial transaction will be via the
PLAYSTATION®Network (PSN) Store. Eventually users will be able to
transact within the Home environment. The Matrix! =-o

How will this work on a PSP or mobile device? I don't think they can handle nearly anything that the PS3 can handle obviously. I guess it's going to be some pale imitation of the PS3's HOME, used only when you don't have access to a PS3.

How about using PSPs and cell phones to remotely connect to your PS3 at home and log into Home? :)
P.S. How should we write "Home" (the service) to avoid any confusion?

PS Home is the way I've most often seen it written.

this is a...well, PS3 forum. I'm sure just saying home in the right context will be understood.
