Do you thing the Ds will use disks or cartrages. When you think about it, since it has nothing to do with the GBA then it should use a different format right? If this is already disproven, should they use it?

Some form of cartridge.... maybe flash memory.

Wow, Nintendo STILL hasn't learned from the last PS1 VS N64 console war.

Well, this is a handheld we're talking about. Discs would just be....dunno, strange.
Well, they would eat up more batteries for one thing, and if a disc is in there spinning, the system would vibrate slightly.

ya thats what i thought, maybe since it has two screen it will have two game insert areas?

i will not buy it unless it is backwards compatable with at least gba, if not gb and gb color.
2 screens = mucho battery power usage like a disc spinning device

portable cd players don't have this problem as don't port DVD players

everything will be revealed this E3, and hopefully there will be good comments about the DS.

It's been officailly announced it will use cartidges. I think this'll be the last we see for Nintendo and cartidges, the next GB will prolly use the same type of disc inside a cartidge (or whatever it is) that Sony is using for the PSP.
