I loved that title. Heck I believe that title is up with Mario. Is it the best platformer ever? Probably not. I'll save that title for the Sonic series or the original Marios on the NES and SNES.

It may be 'slow' versus Sonic but once you're NiGHTs the gameplay is freaking fast. A hell lot more fast-paced than Mario 64. ;)

If this goes on the Wii then its going to be competing with the Mario franchise head on for the first time. Sure Mario 64 and NiGHTs are different, the latter is a 2D scroller in a 3D world while the former is a full 3D game but I have a feeling this time NiGHTs may be full 3D thanks to motion sensor controller.

Well, that goes for every game ever developed, to be honest.

The lack of Naka may hurt but that doesn't mean his game philosophy and design materials won't be carried over.

Zelda is no longer developed directly by Miyamoto. Same with Mario and others yet they retain their enjoyment just the same.

If history trend is any predictor, then I would say the shreds of decency that are/were left of the Naka Sonic Team will probably not make an appearance.

It's a Wii exclusive so far. I believe it is to be featured in a Nintendo mag in the UK next month, and it is mentioned to be exclusive.

NiGHTS was a great came back to sega Saturn days...

I hope they will release it for the PS3 as well...
