Im trying to take a screenshot of a video i have on my comp. I hit "print screen", then go into "paint" and paste it. When i do, you can see my video player, but the screen is black. Is this programmed into the video player for security reasons or something?
Is there a way to take a screenshot of the video?
If so, how do I do it.
BTW, I am using RealOne Media Player if that makes a difference.

thats something that is builtin to the players. not much you can do about it. Thats why I got a dazzle movie editor, no problems.

I suggest downloading a media player that allows users to make plug-ins. See if you can find the plug-in that will enable you to take the screenshot.

I had that problem a while ago in Windows Media Player, and I *think* the way I solved it was by turning off Video Acceleration.
I'm not sure how Real player is though, because I hate real player and don't have it installed.

I always just opened it in quicktime, went to the frame, then edit > copy.
