i sent an email to Insomniac and this is their reply:

I appreciate the insightful response, and I like the idea of putting R&C weapons in Resistance. We’re constantly looking for new things to add to Resistance online, and that would definitely be both a cool idea and a great tie-in to Ratchet. On the technical side it may prove a bit difficult considering that a lot of Ratchet’s more powerful/unique weapons may be difficult to sync online. But it’s definitely something we should look at and try.

Fantastic! I would really dig R&C weapons in Resistance :hugegrin:

However, I do get his message - it's not necessarily a trivial thing to do.

Insomniac, is really turning out to be a great devoloper. I really like their down to earth, and touch-base approach with people.

The time that I got to chat with everybody while I was at Insomniac was great. They're great people to talk with about both development and games, and you can tell from their games that they have a great sense of humor.
