PSN update today? (GTA4 trailer?)

The PSN store update should be in about a half hour (usually 4pm EST) every Thursday. Perhaps it will be delayed by an hour this week to include the GTA4 trailer. Reminder to keep checking the PSN store this afternoon when the trailer goes live to see if it pops up.

It's been some time since a significant update to the store. What's the current thinking on when movies/tv shows/music will be added? I had assumed this was coming before the Euro launch. I'm looking forward to d/ling HD tv (HBO shows would be fantastic... Rome season one is great, but I'd love to see Season 2 put out sooner; I'd gladly pay for HD versions of The Office or Mythbusters, too) since I don't have digital cable but do have an HD tv... I wonder how extensive the PS store will get. Something as big as itunes would be nice. I just hate how I can't watch itunes downloads on my tv. It isn't as much fun to cluster around the small computer screen in uncomfortable chairs.

When Home was revealed, it was mentioned (or implied?) that there would be virtual places to attend live shows and get other kind of video and audio media. I'd expect that kind of downloadable content by the time Home opens for everyone in October.

March 29, 2007 - Sony has made several tantalizing goodies available on the PlayStation Store today. Along with some new movie trailers, a direct-feed video from Home from Phil Harrison's GDC presentation, a demo of Major League Baseball 2K7 and new Warhawk and Super Rub-A-Dub trailers.

All of the above are available for free. If you don't yet own at PS3, you might even consider dropping $600 on one just to get some free videos out of it. The PlayStation Store is updated each Thursday. So check back next week to find out the new goodies available

I already have an US account and Japanese account :) I can't miss all the stuff available over there, I just wonder why Sony doesn't make more downloadable content available everywhere.

I think some new content was going to appear today on the European store, most concretely Super Rub-Dub. It might be available later today, or maybe tomorrow. flOw will be available on April 6, a week from today.

Warhawk actually looks pretty damn good now for some reason in the PSN trailer, the media footage doesn't seem to really show the game off as much, maybe the game simply looks better in high-def.

WarHawk loos fantatic. the gameplay looks fast and furious. and I still can't belive the tech behind it that allows four independant players on one unit to go online. one could be soaring with the clouds, the other hiding in a bunker somewhere, the third is running and gunning like a maniac and the fourth is switching his ride from a tank into a jet plane.

that really shuts up any dev that says anything about 'not able to have split screen'. and that is in a mere racing game...

This is a more specific piece of information that we know gets updated weekly. Seems a good candidate for a sticky.

so you could in the start but not now? that would make sense since I use a local credit card here in the US store and it works fine. I haven't added more credit to PSN since the start so I don't know if I can keep using it or not- not have I bought anything since flOw and Blast Factor.

I think it is similar to both the JPN and Korean stores. HK was made famous for having the GTHD demo before anyone else- even the Japanese store. go figure.

If you want the GTA IV trailer on your PS3 just go to www.playsyde.com from your PS3 browser and download the MP4; it works fine and the encoding is not bad...
Also, I agree Warhawk looks very fun! I don't care if the game is not visually one of the strongest PS3 titles, the gameplay looks great and this could be my Socom fix until the real next-gen Socom is released.
