It took me three weeks, but I finally got Gold in every event. Completing all the tickets. Anybody else beat it yet??

I'm trying to take all golds in the level 3 tickets but the game gets pretty hard especially because there's no way to gain significant ground over your opponents during the first two laps. You can win or lose anytime and that's the cool thing of the game but when you have been first for all the three laps and you end up in last place because of a crash right before the ending, you don't react really well LOL :DD

I have one and a half tickets left I think. I'm doing the race where I'm on a bike in mudpool. Its a pain in the ass. The all buggy on RainGod took me forever. But I've got all Golds so far.

I got the game on friday at European release and finished the game on Monday with all golds. The most difficult ones were the all-buggy Raingod and the all-mudplugger Coyote (or racing truck, dont remember anymore, ticket 20 anyway). It was freakin addictive and now there's online which will probably be even more addictive. :D

No. I was actually a bit disappointed by that, it didn't unlock anything when I got the last gold.

You'll never beat it. There'll be patches etc..., but you did beat the Blu-ray Motorstorm, i'll give you that. ;)

I'm getting there. I'm on the 17th ticket now, first race. Up to that point there were three races I hadn't got first place on, so I went back and got 1st on those. I hear 17 is a bitch, looking forward to that.....

I dont think I have even played the single player. Typically in the more online genres like racers, battlefield type titles, fighters, etc I usually dont play through the single player campaign. I havent really heard much about it, do you guys think its "worth" it to go through the single player??

You unlock the better vehicles to use online, so there's that. ;) I was getting my ass kicked online for awhile until I upgraded a couple of the classes.

Personally I think the AI is a blast to race against, I've seen it do some crazy shit. Evo really came up with some nifty stuff as far as AI's attacking eachother. The catch-up can be pretty damn annoying on the harder levels though.

It was awful. Lots of swearing helped me! I'm stuck on the 20th ticket. This game is hardcore towards the end.

That level with the buggies is absolute HELL. That's the level I'm stuck on at ticket 17. In the later stages, I keep on thinking that the R2 button on my pad doesn't work as well, because I get overtaken so often :(

And wounding, play single player FFS!! ;-]

For what it's worth:

Some news on Motorstorm DL content. Theres going to be 2 downloads a couple of months apart, with the second download apparently including everything in the first download.

The downloads will include 1 new track (at least), new vehicles (including a cool school bus).

More interesting is the new play modes included which, lets face it, the game needs. Firstly there will be a Time Trail mode, and i assume lap times will be posted online.

Best of all is the the burnout style Eliminator\desctruction mode. This is basically a normal race, but if you crash then your out of that race.

I used to work as a games tester for Sony Europe, and I keep in touch with a few of the lads still working there. Some of them are testing the DL content and said its pretty cool. I'll get some details on the other vehicles soon as possible.

I'm told its free, but to be honest my source can be an idiot. It 2nd DL should be out in a couple of months. The first download might not be to long of at all!

In eliminator mode you have to finish to win, so i'd imagine some races will end without a winner, but thats the point of the mode.

i totally understand people being sceptical. i would be if i was reading so its fair enough, but when your all having fun in the school bus in a few months time remember me. As far as the content being free i could be wrong but i was told there would be no cost. Another small thing about the school bus is that it has what was described to me as 'sort of armour on it, like extra stuff on the side,.

By the way, I downloaded the 1.1 update but I didn't see the Time Trial mode. Where is it?

yeah it sounds like a coupla extra on top of the initial one we did it was to fix coupla bugs too (headset etc)

call me old fashion but, I use the old config of X - gas, square - brake. I could not get comfortable with the trigger buttons.

If you can get past the ticket 17 buggy stage. (I was actually stuck on that stage for a week) The rest of it, is not as hard as that one event.

By the way Coded-Dude, I'm waiting for Home to stick that big ole trophy in my Hall of Fame.

Oh man, I got this game the day it came out here in Japan, and I steadily made my way through it until that Rain God Mesa buggy level. I somehow eventually passed that, but now I'm on the 2nd to last ticket with the mud pluggers, and it's just so hard it's not fun anymore. I saw a code to unlock all tickets in this weeks famitsu. I'll have to check it out again the next time I'm at the convenience store. Really pissed me off the Japanese version didn't get online because the box says "not implemented yet", not "no support", so I kind of felt cheated by the devs.
