He also said he was going to have a HD one up soon and a guy in japan was supposed to have a high quality one with sound. Though , I haven't heard anymore from him. Atleast he shared.

in the end of KH2, I got a short preview that indicates the story continues (unofficially announcing KH3). it was about 1:30 minuets long.

there is a much longer one, nearly 5 min., which I think is only available in the Final Mix edition of the game. it might be available in the early KH2 game but only if you got certain achievements. but I'm not sure.

in any case, it is extremely well done, amazingly rendered and pure SE quality. it makes you forget everything you just played in KH2 and only think one thing: I want KH3 NOW!!.

I just hope they don't make Kingdom Hearts too dark for it's own good. It's meant to have a complicated version of a cookie cutter story, and I don't want to leave Sora, Riku, and Kairi out of the game.

Can you imagine playing as one of these knights in a Disney world? Of course not, and Nomura stated that the story is reliant on Sora.

It's confirmed that these are all new characters, which is why I'm completely baffled as to why the small knight looks identical to Roxas.

It's impossible for it to be Roxas in the future OR past. I do think this movie is in the past though, considering Mickey's using Starseeker (from Yensid) instead of his inverted Kingdom Key.

The main knight definately ties in to Xehanort, though. He has the same hairstyle (albeit shorter and a different color), and at the end his eyes turn orange like Xehanort's Heartless/Xemnas. My theory is that the main knight and the bald unknown somehow become one being, that ends up being the original Xehanort.

I just read about Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix.
It sais it's a remake of the GBA Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories version with extra's. I thought the GBA game was ment to be between KH and KH II. So should i wait for this one before playing KH II. Because i played KH, and i got KH II a few months ago when it was released in Europe, but still haven't played it. And i don't have a GBA so this would be a great opertunity.

yes, I was talking about Final mix and didn't know about Final Mix +.

Japanese gamers are used to have different versions of a game release again and again. that is why they went with MotorStorm without online over there so early because they were told they could release another version with the added options.

in any case, it is good to know that FM+ just released since I thought I wouldn't hear the audio in that awesome ending CG video. I can't miss that. SE is a wizard when it comes to CG videos. :)

They don't always translate that well into the game. I remember seeing the "Another Side, Another Story" secret ending and being really excited about it, and thought that would be representative of the new game.

that is actually what gets me excited. typical Japanese style, unlike NA Rambos, have the hero out powered, out numbered, and out skilled. that is why you have to go through a lot; to learn, discover and evolve. plus, Japanese culture in movies, anime and books, never give heed to age, size or looks when it comes to power. in fact, they like to always make the sillies character, the oldest or the weakest looking one to be the most bad ass of them all.
seeing someone as old as that makes me think 'experience' and 'high level' rather than weak. :cowboy:

I just now watched the full video (since it has audio). how can you say 'easily' beaten? sure the old man beat them without even moving much. his 'shadow' did all the work along with spells. but the three put up a fight and they were really good. it is just that they aren't as good as him.

I haven't been following the who's who discussion since i just now seen the vid, but the first to break her helmet was a girl. the one frozen is undoubtedly Roxxas and the last guy with long hair is totally new. or he was Xenhart (sp) since he has the same hair do- but his skin is totally off. but didn't the latter also have yellow eyes? this long haired guy turned his eyes yellow when he got really ticked off. special abilities for the win!

That's so badass, I saw it earlier today. Supposedly he says "Aqua...Ven..." at the beginning, alluding to the fact that those might be the other two knights' names. Aqua would surely fit the girl's hair, and Ven...well. That would explain that he's not Roxas. But I still don't get why Nomura would make a character look exactly the same as Roxas...that's like the last peice of information I need to figure this whole trailer out.

April 2, 2007 - With Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix + Re: Chain of Memories at last out in Japan, Tetsuya Nomura and crew can now devote all their energy to their next project. And that appears to be another Kingdom Hearts game, or at least another tie-up with Disney. But is it Kingdom Hearts III?

Speaking with Japan's Gemaga and Dengeki PlayStation publications, Nomura gave a few hints on the new project, which he's previously hinted would see formal announcement later this year.

Gemaga asked if the characters who appear in the new CG "secret movie" that has been added to Final Mix are from the new title. "They are people who have some relation to the new series," said the producer. "However the next title won't just be Kingdom Hearts III. If it were III, we wouldn't call it a new series."

Asked if Sora and Riku would make an appearance in the new game, he said with a laugh, "I can't say." He also hinted that the new game would have something to do with Xehanort, the main villain of the Kingdom Hearts series.

He was just as direct when Dengeki PlayStation asked for some details on the new title. "First, it's not Kingdom Hearts III. Of course, because we're calling it a 'new' series, it won't be KHIII. Also, it's a series, so it probably won't be just one title."

Nomura once again promised an announcement of the new game, whatever it may be, some time this year. In the meanwhile, he suggested that players attempt to unlock the Final Mix secret movie and start imagining.

Sounds good even though I have yet to play the original and the second. I have not purchased KHII either but rather is looking forward to KH2 Final Mix. :)

I am more interested in the Final Fantasy Versus XIII title, though. The art, music, the battle engine and the atmosphere (visually and story wise) is what makes that title really attractive.

Same team so I'm not hitting the series. ;)

Haha someone made that on the Kingdom Hearts Ultimania forums based off of my theory! What a coincidence seeing it here.

EDIT: What they changed about my theory, though, is that in my theory, his hair did not "grow due to age" and together the bald man and the knight became the Xehanort that Xemnas and "Ansem" (Xehanort's Heartless) from KH1 originated.

I stumbled across a video on Youtube that apparently tries to link Final Fantasy XIII to Final Fantasy VII. I'm pretty sure that one of the cited examples was that they both took place in a futuristic city..:shifty:

TheWertle has translated an interview with Nomura from Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ Ultimania and realized that the names of the knights are related to elements just like in the last game.An explanation for those not aware: The knights are the characters that made an appearance in the secret ending of Kingdom Hearts II. They are a part of the next Kingdom Hearts title.

· The frozen male knight is called Ven which means Wind.
· The female knight is called Aqua which means Water.
· The name of the second male knight, the Enigmatic Soldier, is unknown yet. His name should be related to Earth, though.

great find FGhost! KH3 is one of the biggest games coming out. I would presume it is for PS3 and I sure as hope it is- regardless if others are getting it as well.

although I hate anything Disney like the plague, I play the games and love them for the SE side. :)
