This season of The Simpsons has been awesome.

Last season was borderline pathetic, and for the first time ever I actually turned off new episodes halfway through because they were just not at all funny. But ever since this season started, The Simpsons has been great again.

I was starting to fear that The Simpsons was going downhill, but now I'm glad that it is restored to it's former glory! :laugh:

For the last year or two I didn't like the new episodes, but now they own me. Two weeks ago or whatever (I think it was on a 9:00 tonight) when they had that rapping garlic bread for Olive Garden I pee'd myslef.

You got it all wrong. The Simpsons has sucked for a long while now. While the old episodes are still laugh out loud hilarity the new ones are just cramming crappy joke after crappy joke down your throat. The new writers deserve to be shot. I hate how Marge's voice is so much more naggy and annoying than before and Homer is constantly screaming. It's like every voice actor is overacting thier character to the X-treme. I could go on and on about how crappy the new seasons are but I will stop for the good of mankind.

Totally agree with Rabunis here. All the new episodes are a disgrace to the Simpsons' now tarnished name. They've done too much changing of the characters now and it's just not that same. Plus the fact that a lot of the writers left and Matt Groening doesn't give a shit what happens to the Simpsons; he doesn't even read the new scripts any more.

I'd prefer the Simpsons to end right now. These new episodes are terrible and aren't even borderline funny. People, go watch some older episodes and then some newer ones after, you'll notice a huge difference between them...

i miss the old episodes... seasons 2-8/9 or maybe 10 where pure gold. Then suddenly episodes just got a little bland all the characters seemd to be put in slow motion it was kinda boring for a season or two, then instead od returning it to normal they sped it up so fast all the character flew out the window and the took out every good joke and replaced them with 10 unfunny ones. There is almost no plot for every episode. try watcing it. The characters just cant be normal. Every single thing has to be either try to be funny or just moving. character cant just talk or act natural. The show feels less of a show and more of a .... well south park kinda show.. but at least south park is good at what it does.
