Firefox Help...

Okay, Firefox has been going really slow lately, and it's annoying. And these things have been popping up and when I say OK a black Firefox window pops up and the same happens when I close it. And when I hold Alt and Tab to switch between programs quickly, it shows like 20 of these little things that pop up...

Never seen that before.

Export your bookmarks (Bookmarks > manage bookmarks > file > export) and close all windows. Then right click your firefox icon on your desktop > properties. In the target field, add space dash p at the end so it looks like this: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p

Then launch the program and create a new profile. Import your bookmarks. The extentions and stuff are in this thread. http://www.nintendonow.com/forums/showthread.php?p=367258&goto=postid

Remmeber to not install random extentions. The more extentions you have, the slower FF gets to start up and more likely someting bad will happen. And don't isntall any extentions from a site other than a mozilla one.

Okay, Bowser I'm trying to get a new skin but it's not working.

EDIT: Nevermind. But everytime I click on FF a little thing pops up asking which profile to use. I want to make it so that thing doesn't pop up everytime... how do I do it? I checked Don't Ask Again but it still does.

Bowser, how do I access my profile extensions? there are a few that are sort of unneccersary such as status bar clock (dont ask). If you could give me the default route that would be great

What does that do?

Stores your seesion. Turn off firefox, and volia etc, it'll be on there for next time you want to use it, whether you turn off the program or computer.

Oh sorry, delete your old profile (should be named default) and then edit that -p out of the target in propeties.

Session saver makes it so instead of a home page, you open up to what you last left off on, tabs and all.

EDIT: Peter, go to run > %appdata% > Pheonix folder. Extentions are in there, with the rest of your stuff. I don't think deleting the file does anything though. Just disable it in extention options I guess.

Bowser, I disabled the Click for Flash extension because I didn't want it to work anymore and it still works, and I even restarted Firefox a few times and it's still like that...

Same thing happened to Skull Kid, don't know what to do other than starting ANOTHER profile...
