I'll probably eventually get around to watching them both. Kill Bill Volume 2 is first, though. It's released in four days, I'll probably watch it next weekend.

I just watched Kill Bill yesterday and sorry to say but that was weak. The fight between Uma and Vivica was great but the rest was weak by martial art movie standards.


I haven't seen a preview for either but if I saw one, I'd watch the Punisher.

Viper, you liked that fight between Vivica and Uma? I thought it was weak, compared to the scene where she laid out like 88 of the crazy 88. lol. All they did was throw each other around a bit, and then she threw a knife in her chest. Nothing big. I loved how not hardly any CG was used though.

Considering I just saw Kill Bill Vol. 1 tonight, I would have gone to see Vol. 2. Is Vol 2 the last, or is there one more?

Vol 2. Is the final episode, although Quentin did say he is going to do one in about 10 or so years from now.

I liked the Vivica/Uma fight because it looked the most convincing as it were done by real martial artists.

After seeing so many older Chinese martial art films, the 88 fight was weak. The blood was way over the top. The music was meh. Guess I've just been spoiled then.

Yeah, the blood was over the top. And the fact that that Sophie chick was still alive after all that time cracked me up. I have to say that I actually liked that addition of the little bit of animation. Wasnt really a point in it, but it was still cool.

I just got back from seeing the punisher yesterday. This movie was fcking awsome, and if Kill Bill Volume 2 didnt really have that much blood in it, then the punisher will make up for it. Its worth the money, go see it!

I just saw the punisher and it was a little weak... it had some good moments but it wasn't enought to pull it up. They could have done so much more. His nice neibours didn't go at all with the theme of the film. Its almost as if the film wanted a grity edgy kind of thing but at the same time throw in cheap jokes you find in kids movies. The ending was good but far to short. In fact the whole movie kinda flew right by without leaving a trace.

We probrably would have felt sorry for the punisher if we had actualy had some time to get the know the people that where taken away from him. The dialog in the movie was really tacky like each character wrote their own part. Some characters could have been spent more time. The characters where good for the most part, the punisher was good character, and the other characters where good... but they dont fit together.

The music was also pretty bad. Instead of a kind of dark and gritty stuff they should have used, they use the same old rehashed stuff in every action movie. But the music was so outlandish. It felt like a superman movie. Like how the music gets slowler faster then it shows the bad guy and its like " duh duh daaaaaa". Well not like that but you get it.

There weren't many speicle effects, which was sorta nice these days in this speicle efects world. And theres plenty if stuff to get it its 14-A rating in canada. Boobs, Swears and the gore are all here.

Logical explanation for that. The dude retired from the FBI. And if you do any kind of job that serves the government and you retire, they basically send you checks in your mail. Like I said before, He worked for the FBI so he probabally had connections or access to that kind of artilary.

meh, I think they should've reversed the way Kill Bill was made, have the movie with a crap load of dialouge first then the movie which is mostly action second. I was really expecting some huge, 20 minute fight with Bill but all we get is about a little less than a minute of fighting.

I saw the Punisher on Saturday, and It was dope IMO. It stayed true to the gritty, "Noble Murderer" Theme of the comic book, but keep in mind this isnt exactly your normal Superhero Movie. Like Blade and Daredevil before it, Punisher belongs to different brand of heroes with more mature stories and villains, so if you didnt like Blade or Daredevil, then most likely you wont like the Punisher. It has always been this way with those 3 in the comic book world, they had loyal fans who apprecited the more reallistic world of those 3, and it most likely will continue to be that way with the movies. The Punisher isnt some uber man who can leap buildings or crawl up walls(duh), hes a normal man who uses deception, stealth and high end weaponry(and really anything that can be used to kill someone) to dispatch his enemies in the bloodiest way possible, hes no hero, hes an executioner of those who deserve death.
