Because we all know MGS2, RE1, Mega man 1-6 were bad??? Pshh so negative, some of the shortest games I played were the best, plus I doubt it's five hours long, probably closer to 10-15 which is perfect IMO, add some replay and you've got yourself a winner in my book.

The game looks amazing, I know nothing about it though.

I don't know what this project is, but the big thing coming from Offset's engine is Red 5's MMO published by WebZen. Red 5 is made by former Blizzard members who worked on WoW and they claim to be delivering something earth shattering in the MMO world- not their exact words.

these images here look good, but beauty is skin deep. the engine still has a lot to prove.

Cutscenes are part of MGS2, and even considering that the game is only like 4 hours if you run through it, there's so much replay value and exploring to do in how things work and react. I have logged hundreds of hours on both MGS2 and 3, and am approaching 50 hrs since I've got to MGS1.

But I agree with your idea.

I remember a while back, the Offset team was looking for PS3 programmers.
But I don't know if that mean that this games will be released on the PS3.
that might be for another game using the same engine.
