Rooney! Rooney! Rooney!

I knew that as soon as we scored the equaliser we were going to win. Next week will be tough.

Good result, but will be very tough next week especially with milan having two away goals, utd will have to attack and score first in milan as if milan score first it'll be a struggle...None the less, great result and great goal by rooney.

Also both kaka's goal deserve congrats, i mean yeah the utd defenders run into each other for the 2nd but only cos he headed the ball in between the two and run round them lol

Kaka's goal's were both amazing, especially the 2nd

try a 1-0 away win for us

Man Utd. have a terrible record in Italy, so I'd be very surprised if they managed to win out there. IMO, their best bet would be to try and play out a 0-0.

Rooney's second goal means nothing. Milan needed 1 goal at 2-2 and they still need 1 goal with the score being 3-2. Man Ure have a shit record in Italy so I think Milan will win and are going to the final to play Liverpool.

I guess you're not a fan then eh?

Records mean shit, and are broken all the time. I can see us winning if we sort out our defence.

Matt

Yea, defence is going to be a big problem, especially with the likes of Kaka. As well as the huge injury list they've got, Evra is suspended for the next match right?

Ravster
04-25-2007, 06:35 PM
Yes, hes suspended that damn fool!

Defence as it stands: O'Shea, Brown, Heinze, Fletcher?

Matt

Richardson sometimes plays left-back as cover, but he's shit and injured, so I dunno.

We are kinda fucked on our back four. Unless Ferdinand plays at the weekend, he won't be match fit. But, the again, he doesn't need that long to get back into his stride.

Argh, this is really pissing me off. All our worries coming at a time we could really do without.

Matt

Heh, how can you be so damn worried when you're in line to possibly win three trophies?

Maybe I should be more worried about the drop than I am!

Vidic is more likely to play over Rio, he resumed training on Monday

Ravster

Hm, hard man Vidic. He could certainly handle Kaka.

But, doesn't he and Rio play at centre back?

Crow

"We're going to try hard to get Rio Ferdinand fit (for Milan away), there is some improvement.

"But I'm anticipating I'll have to play Fletcher at right-back, O'Shea at centre-back and Gabby at left-back."

yes him and rio do

And utd will win in Milan but it will be a very tough game alot tougher than they game against roma....

To be honest man utd really lack cover all over the field they have an amazing first 11 but once they get injured they have maybe 3-4 players capable of replacing people and putting in a similar display...They will struggle defensively in Milan they HAVE to score

Ah, right @ Crow

Anyway, score predictions:

AC Milan 1 - 3 Man Utd

Crow

Utd wont score 3 in Italy

1-1

Matt
04-25-2007, 11:03 PM
Yea, you're definitely underestimating AC there. I was going to say either 0-0 or 1-1.

No one predicted we would beat Roma 7-1. We beat AC Milan with a shit defence yesterday 3-2.

I've got this feeling.....

Matt

Yea, but you're not going to have the home advantage. They struggled against Roma in Italy.

Ravster

I think its about time Man Utd beat an Italian team at their ground. Milan have won 6 lost 2 in their previous 2 legged ties :\

Like i said...you will go through but not easily

Crow

but Roma are not AC Milan, Milan have players like Gatusso, Maldini, Kaka...it'd be optimistic to think we could score 3 away goals in Italy, you also have to understand the Inter Milan have already won the Italian league so AC can rest more players, we cannot
