It's a distro i've been watching a bit lately, i was very impressed with tr3, not perfect but i was very happy and impressed with what it offered, in some ways better then ubuntu. It has also recently grabbed the number 3 spot on distrowatch so obviously others agree with me. (but i am testing fedora and posting from it ATM, it's cool too).

Anyway, cool distro in case some of you are interested, i know most of you are ubuntu users ;) (it is still my number one recommended distro to a newbie) anyway, try it out! it is on a livecd that can be installed OR can run entirely in RAM (making it REALLY ULTRA HAPPY MEGA SUPER FAST! (if you have lots of RAM that is...))

I'll check out the Live CD...don't know very much about this distro (we both know I don't know very much about ANY distro ;) ) but it sounds cool.

lol, i think it is better implemented in pclinuxos then in ubuntu but eye-candy has always been one of it's strong points, i mean the artwork is :wank:

lol...anyway, I'm not really into to Beryl and the squiggly pages and Cube is good enough for me;)

So besides Eye Candy, what does it offer??

LMAO! i didn't say it's better then ubuntu, i don't know if it's true or not ;) but it is still very solid and with hawt UI. running it now. there are a few niggling issues that make ubuntu shine more but this is cool.

I installed fedora a few days ago onto another partition but i don't think it brang anything new for me, ubuntu did more things and set up my hardware, and helped with codecs and beryl and stuff, so i think i may be formatting fedora and installing pclinuxos instead.

but right now, ubuntu is by far my fav.

It was too hard for me :( have you tried it? i bet you 100 bucks you would fail too. LOL!

as soon as gentoo 2007 comes out i will try installing it the proper way, that will get me a bit more experience, ready for LFS.
